Hi gurus, I am using CM25 and im trying to do a capacity evaluation but i keep on getting this message "No capacity requirements

were found in the evaluation period" and "No work centers or orders were found" no matter what overall profile i keep on getting the same errors. What do i need to set up or configure in order to make this work.. Thank you so much! Narasimhan Venu... Posts: 1,752 Registered: 4/29/04 Forum Points: 5,018

Re: No capacity requirements were found Reply in the evaluation period Posted: Jun 18, 2010 12:49 AM in response to: cristinereyes.ph Hi, Make sure that the control key used for the operation allows generation of requirement records.( Use the drop down of the control key to check whether "Determine Capacity Requirements" has been selected for this). If this is not set, Make sure to set them using menu path SPRO > PM> Orders > Settings for order types> Control key> Define control key. Also make sure that the Work center has the right formula associated to it for generation of capacity requirements(SAP008 for capacities and SAP004 for scheduling in the Other formula field). These two settings should result in generation of capacity requirement records for the work center against the order. evaluation period" and "No work centers or orders were found" and read your suggestion... step 1, (which I did it) I selected the "Determin Capacity Requirement" for the control key. Step 2, Also make sure that the Work center has the right formula associated to it for generation of capacity requirements(SAP008 for capacities and SAP004 for scheduling in the Other formula field). where do you do this? Can you please give me more detail... After I did step 1, the problem is still there.... using CM25 and im trying to do a capacity evaluation but i keep on getting this message "No capacity requirements were found in the evaluation period" and "No work centers or orders were found" Thank you, Sam Re: No capacity requirements were found in the evaluation period Posted: Aug 2, 2010 5:50 AM in response to: Narasimhan Venu... Thanks Narasimhan! it worked

Hi All, We are currently using REM (repetitive manufacturing ) for few products .. Currently we are not using any capacity planning functionality in SAP.. We would like to enable the capacity planning.. I am modeling the capacity planning for REM and has following issues.. Pl suggest what am i doing wrong.. 1. We have a work center already represented in SAP which has 2 capacities ( which means 2 machines and manufacturing can happen parallely on these 2 machines within the work ceter).. we represented this as one work center with 2 individual capacities in the work center capacity header.. Say work center is WC1 (Individual capacities 2).. First Individual capacity is CAP1 and Second Capacity is CAP2.. 2. WC1 is represented in rate routing and also as line in the production version.

3. After accessing REM planning table ( MF50) and then branching to capacity planning table, currently SAP shows only WC1 in the top portion of capacity planning table with planned orders to be dispatched in the bottom portion.. But i do not see the individual capacities within the WC1 in the top portion.. a) How to show individual capacities of a work center in the top portion of capacity planning graphical table, so that orders can be dispatched to individual capacities ? any configuration settings required?? b) Also while accessing Capacity evalutaion - work center view (CM01) or Capacity levelling work center view ( CM21) for the workcenter WC1 , currently SAP does not show anything . i get a message that no capacity requirements were found.. I adjusted the time frame to next 6 months which covers the capacity requirements visible in REM planning table.. So CM01 & CM21 do not capture capacity requirements of REM Planned orders? what am i missing?

Really appreciate the help on this Thanks RK59

You probably needs two work centers instead of one if you still use REM. REM principles are based on production rate/day or per shifts, and production line concept. If you wanna split and manage the capacity of both machine separately, therefore, you must view it as the two separate production lines (and two production vesions) in REM. ayethebing Posts: 291 Joined: Thu Mar 10, 2005 8:08 pm Location: Bangkok, Thailand Top

by RK59 on Tue Jan 16, 2007 6:40 pm Hi ayethebing, Thanks your time and information.. Please let me know the usage of Individual capacity view in the capacity planning, levellig ?? Does individual capacity view shows both the capacities in the graphical planning table for levelling purpose? We are not looking for splitting a planned order but like to allocate one planed order completely to one capacity and another planned order completely to a different capacity .. So in the example, both the planned orders may have WC1 after MRP run.. But during levelling, we would like to allocate planned order 1 to CAP1 and Planned order 2 to CAP 2.. Is this possible?

Also irrespective of split or not, why REM planned orders which has capacity requirements generated are not visible in capacity levelling ? transaction codes CM01 or CM21?? these transactions do not read REM planned orders?? Thanks for help RK59 RK59 Posts: 44 Joined: Tue Mar 21, 2006 4:43 pm Top by RK59 on Wed Jan 17, 2007 5:31 am Hi All Appreciate more insight on this.. Pl throw some light.. Hi Experts, When we opening planning table (mf50) with material selection ,then complete capacity data section is not appearing& in header view of capacity requirement planning (change capacity display isin grey color). we have already set the parameter related to REM senario (e.g,rem profile,prod.schdl.profile,scheduling parameters (PE),w.c capacity data etc). where i had mistake ,plz let me know.... If your problem is something else please share us the screen shot of MF50 explaining your problem. (You can upload the screen shot to any picture sharing sites like google picasa and provide us the link to access the same). Once the production version has the Production line assigned you should be getting the Capacity data in MF50. Thanks a lot prasobh , get my answer for ur side......now complete capacity data comes in pl table.,but suppose ,if we have two production line for same finished product ( same product is goes through two prod line/wc ), how will v maintain in that production version in that case ?? can v maintained under it into line hierarchy? & then that line hierarchy will assign in P.V.... Thanks in advance......... waiting for u r valuable suggestion.... Re: planning table ( REM) Reply Posted: Jun 12, 2010 7:40 AM in response to: Prasobh Karunak... Hi, Use all standard SAP configuration,Capacity Leveling Profile. Define time profile in OPD2. Define the strategy profile in OPDB Define the Overall profiles in OPD0.

Then only you need to to active your all work center for the finite scheduling at the bottom of capacity view in work center.(CR02) Then run MRP with scheduling- 2 Lead time scheduling and capacity planning.(MD02) You will get your capacity requirement in CM01, or CM25/CM21. In rem you can use MF50. Please try and revert back if you have any query on the same Capacity Planning Regards, R.Brahmankar Rewards if useful
