I believe the fallen are a lot like people. That is perhaps why they fell.

Beca use they allowed certain thoughts and feelings into themselves that human beings have, and their special purity and place with God was lost. I also believe that the fallen, at least some of them who still retain some ligh t and memory of what they had, do cherish purity, virginity, goodness and closen ess with God in human beings, for example, in females. Even though the commonly believed story is that the fallen angels, like the devil, hate this and try to cor rupt or parody it, in some cases this may not be true. Consider a man who has had a promiscuous jaded lifestyle, and who has known impu rity and lust for a very long time or in a very intense way. He may have even s een young girls, as young as 12 or 13, engaging in sexual relations themselves w ithout a trace of their natural innocence. This man may become fascinated, obsessed and truly desirous of someone who is no thing like this. Who has no connection with this lifestyle and no need of it I believe this is what the fallen are like in their approach. Much like this ma n, who has seen and done too much, and has seen the females in a way that destro ys many of his ideals. i have believed for a while now that the fallen angels are not all the same. Ye s, there are some who despise virginity, who despise purity, and who do seek to desecrate or tempt it, very much so. Just as some men would do this, for the ch allenge, or because it is part of their nature But just as we are not all alike , neither are the fallen.

Remember, motives vary in the reasons for the fall. On my own, i came to a conc lusion that startled even myself. That there was more than one group of fallen in time, not just Lucifer and his band and that there was more than one motive. t pride, as in his case not just lust, as in the case of the Watchers, or Grigori b t several other motives as well. This theory i came to was shared by several authors and different sources that i later read. I believe that a fallen angel would seek something he himself once had and lost th e innocence, the purity, the freedom from certain conditions or feelings and this may be found in virginity. So that this is not a contempt or a desire to corrup t, but a longing for what once was for the angel and can never be again. Also, i do not believe that the fallen angels despise the Virgin Mary, for simil ar reasons i have just mentioned. Unless they fell because of anger at the coming of the Messiah as a human being, this would not be true. That would be the only reason for the fallen angels to despise someone like Bles sed Mother. I remember reading a legend that explained one of the motives for the fallen, an d this one did mention that one particular angel spoke with God and resented Jes us coming to earth. Some fallen have achieved their unnatural state due to lust. But i believe they also know how to love and feel affection for human beings. Yet even this is co nsidered a corrupting influence by God. Because any personal feelings will redu ce purity in a being such as they are.

Purity in its truest essence has no personal feelings towards others. It is impe rsonal. It is removed from relationships and feelings that can lead to intimacy . That is why nuns and priests are not supposed to see people in this way. Tha t is what gives the religious life its purity and sense of separateness from peo ple yet closeness with God. The angels had to be even more so like this. But they were not. They became lik e people, and engaged in personal feelings and personal relationships. So these are my theories and ideas about the fallen, which i may have written el sewhere in other blogs. I hope you found this interesting.
