Each country contributes every single peace of knowledge. Commonly every country has different language that exists in that place. When we want to learn all about of knowledge, we must learn about the language that exists in that place. Not only getting knowledge, with learning we can also know about culture, costume, and everything about that country. Each language usually consists of sign, symbol, sentences, and word. The elements of that language have different meanings that depend on the context of using. In mastering of language, we must master of four skills and two component of language. The part of the four languages are listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The two other components of language are vocabulary and grammar. Each elements and the component of language are construction from word, phrase and sentence. When we want to mastering every language that will direct us to increase our knowledge, we must know about the construction of vocabulary. And the vocabulary is word. Word or vocabulary that represent of language is divided in to two types of word. The types are passive or active. Active vocabulary is the vocabulary or word that we use everyday naturally. And passive vocabulary is vocabulary that we never use it in the each of communication. In general utterance, its called difficult word. In mastering language, we must know the meaning of the word. And we need the tool that can help us to translate the word. The only one tool that can help us is called dictionary. Dictionary is a book that explains the words that are used in a particular subject. Dictionary can be divided in two types of dictionary. The types are electric dictionary and conventional dictionary. The electric dictionary is the dictionary that has transferred to the mini software or to the other electronic devices. The conventional dictionary is the dictionary that shapes look a like book. When we translate language idiomatically, the word language is not only for the language that for verbal or written language but thats more widen than just communication. Because the element language of knowledge has different understanding from one and others knowledge, so each discipline of science has difference dictionary that can

guide them to understand the science effectively. For the big university, they usually establish the dictionary depended from the specific science. And it is the ordinary phenomenon. The price of the dictionary established by the big university is usually quite expensive for the students. Dictionary is useful tool in the learning comprehension. Its no matter that you are in deference department cause each science discipline has specific dictionary to help them. So as a learner, we must have at least one type of dictionary that helps us in the learning comprehension.
