Good Evening ! Ladies and Gentleman!, The galaxy of intellectuals, eminent dignitaries on and off the dias, invited guests, teachers and my dear friends, How different is this evening!!!!! Dear audience, you will yourself discover as the colours of technical feast unfold ! Well, my first and foremost duty - On behalf of the Computer Science and Engg Association is to welcome you all to the brainchild of the CSEA, the Sync 2011 , the conglomeration of the elite brains across the department. We feel honored to have with us - The Honourable Registrar Mr. ShanmugavelSir you hardly need any introduction, you have made all of us proud by your distinguished work in numerous capacities. You are one of the most celebrated dignitaries in our circle . Dr. Easwarkumar, the Head of the Dept . of CS..the man of distinct vision and a fountainhead of illuminating ideas, an idol of knowledge and experience and inspiration to all of us. Dr.T.V Gopal, Professor of the comp.sc dept. a vibrant speaker having the ability to attract students and adding to it his speeches are usually a great infotainment to the listeners.. A prayer in its simplest definition is merely a wish turned Godward. It puts you in touch with the infinite and prepares your mind for the finite. Nothing is no more possible without prayer than poetry without language or music without atmosphere. To begin this auspicious occasion, may I invite my friends to invoke the almighty. Ladies and Gentlemen, may I request all of you to please stand for the invocation. Thank you ladies and Gentlemen, you may please be seated Every festival is intended to awaken in man the consciousness of his inherent divinity. Now, we will have our traditional auspicious LAMP-LIGHTENING ceremony as a

tribute to Mother Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge. Hence I request.. to light the lamp. ( Mother, we pray for your blessings with all humility give us wisdom to make this world a better place. May all human beings live in harmony with nature and other forms of life. May the truth prevail. May the darkness of ignorance be swept away by the dawn of self-realization.) It endeavours to sharpen the skills of the students and offers a huge ocean of learning to everyone..and we are here for the adventure . It is the biggest conflux of students, industry and academia for a thoroughly enriching experience and testing the Einstein within you. Be prepared to be enlightened in the Zenith of Innovation!

The two day event scheduled to be held on the 10th and 11thof September 2011, will comprise of a host of events that challenge, recognize and reward the limitless potential that lies within the student community.
