PLANTS SOURCING PLAN

• To be provided by feedback & specialists.


• Under division Plant Supervision Council
• A list of major exhibition plants, including rare species and sourcing list prepare for 5.0m
plants of approximately 6,000 species are to be planted.

• Seedlings of flowers are ordered, through a council. Outsourced productions announced


two years ahead.

• Plant Storage Area


An inventory space, 'warehouse' of approximately 30,000m 2. Location to be identified.

• Plant Quarantine
A plant quarantine meeting with the relevant authority to discuss the quarantine of
imported pants. 'Quarantine' space build-up area may be required.

• There will be monthly plant / flower by organiser's team for December, January, February,
March, April and May. Each month's theme, and sectional planting , advance purchasing,
growing and planting scheme, replacement stock / inventory to ensure fresh quality
exhibition.

• Insect Pests, traps and survey


12 months before : trap installed in 3 places, inside and outside
To conduct preliminary survey on insect pests, 14 times
6 months before, 2 extra traps.
Survey conducted on weekly basis, 4,000 insects were checked.
Danger from bird attracts, should be determined.
