Coordinated Targeting of Mobile Sensor Networks for Ensemble Forecast Improvement:-

Abstract:
Group of mobile sensor n/w's that has been created for the development of the org in the future - provides alg to get information for the development. - It is complicated because of dynamic systems(o/p of one eqtn or any Thing is a part of i/p of the other) as well as by constraints (controls the action). - Restricts the projects from achieving its goal. - Backward formulation (explanation) developed by present authors Provides a baseline (defined starting point where implementation begins,& improvement is judged ) framework( a hypothetical description of a complex entity or process) to efficiently address the challenge. Key contribution: * To delineate (sketching outline) how to effectively incorporate (to bring anything into the main group) the sensor

platform constrained mobility (the quality of moving freely) in the targeting process. *to demonstrate the importance of the interterm info sharing - To achieve good targeting performance. - Numerical examples of simplified weather forecasting (what we think happen in the future) verify that the presented method renders good targeting solutions while retaining computational tractability (trait-> (distinguishing feature of our personal nature) being easily persuaded >(win support or approval)), which is crucial(extreme importance) for the design of sensor networks that tightly interact with, and rapidly adapt to, large-scale dynamic(efficient) environments.

Cell Range Extension Techniques for Wide-Area Ubiquitous (WAUN) Network:

Abstract:

o This paper describes a newly developed wireless access system for the wide area ubiquitous (being present everywhere at once) network (WAUN), a large cell-based public sensor network.

o The wide-area ubiquitous network (WAUN) is characterized by the use of compact, long-life battery-driven wireless terminals, services that are less expensive than existing public wireless services, high security for customer information, and both indoor and outdoor service availability.

o This system is made up of a wireless system and a core network system. The wireless system consists of wireless terminals and base stations (remote base stations and master base station). o The core network system consists of network management servers and internet protocol gateways (IP-GWs). A network management server authenticates wireless terminals and manages terminal identities (IDs) and locations. An IP-GW handles admission control for data transfer between the IPGW and application servers. o The wireless terminals have limited functionality to reduce their cost and to save energy; their functionality is supplemented by the functionalities residing in the rest of the network. It introduces two key technologies to achieve WAUN with wide area coverage. The first is a digitalized( put into digital form, as for use in a computer, administer digitalis such that the patient benefits maximally without getting adverse effects) radio over optical fiber (DROF) subsystem that allows cost-effective commercial packet based networks to transfer wireless RF signals among distributed access points. The second is a frequency offset transmitter diversity scheme that achieves sub optimal diversity gain without rate loss, regardless of the

number of antennas, by using intentional and orderly frequency offset.
