In the far flung of the grimdark there is only rush hour!

Gridlock 40k is a fast and furious battle for the single most valuable commodity 40,000 years into the future a parking space! As the battle for ultimate supremacy rages across the galaxy, mechanized warfare has become the rule, with millions of tanks, transports and other vehicles taking the field in vicious combat. The unfortunate side effect of all this traffic has been a distinct lack of parking when the chapter master, warboss, or ethereal needs a pick up a forty from the local underhive QuikMart. Objective There is only one objective in Gridlock 40k claim a parking space for your commander! Place a flat, rectangular marker roughly the size of a rhino base in the center of the table. This represents the last parking spot on the field of battle and your goal is to occupy it for as long as possible. At the end of each game turn, award a point to the player who has at least one transport vehicle in contact with the parking space. If both players have a transport in contact, then no point is awarded. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins. Note that only vehicles with a transport capacity are able to score this point Special Rules Road Rage Even a space marine struggles to control his emotions when he gets behind the wheel. All weapon ranges are halved (rounded up) and all special weapon modifiers are ignored (eg. melta, lance, etc.). This applies to all units. Carjack When assaulting a vehicle, the attacking squad can opt to make a single roll to carjack the passengers. If the roll is unsuccessful, combat against the vehicle continues as normal. On a roll of 5 or 6, passengers are pulled from the vehicle and the attacking squad is now in combat with the passengers. If either side is wiped out, the winning squad can choose to use their massacre move to mount the vehicle and control it as if it was their own. Pile-Up In addition to sustaining damage, a vehicle rammed by another vehicle is automatically moved 6 inches in the direction it was rammed. Should that vehicle hit a third vehicle, the strength of the hit is that of the initial ram added to the strength of the second vehicle ram. Note that in Gridlock 40k it is perfectly acceptable to ram one of your own vehicles so that it impacts an enemy vehicle. Moreover, there is no limit to the number of vehicles that can be chain rammed in a single pile-up. The following FOC changes are required: Every Troop choice must take at least four dedicated transports Every HQ choice must take one and only one dedicated transport Elite and Fast Attack choices must take at least two dedicated transports At the start of the game, each transport must have at least two models mounted from the transports unit At deployment, squads can be broken down into 2+ model units (similar to combat squads) Jump infantry and cavalry can board transports but count for two models from a capacity perspective Monstrous creatures can ride in a transport but only one can ride in a given transport with no one else inside Armies without dedicated transports are not able to play sorry Tyranids! Pile-up example: You ram a rhino into one of your own rhinos from 6. This is a strength 4 hit that the second rhino easily survives. The second rhino immediately moves 6 inches, contacting an enemy vehicle at the end of this move. That hit is now strength 8, 4 from the original ram and 4 from the ram from the second rhino. Note that return hit on the second rhino includes the strength of the original ram plus the armor plus modifiers of the third vehicle being hit. Force Organization
