Concerns Poor performance of the Students during the National Achievement Test (NAT) Intervention Strategies/activities
Identify the common reasons why students perform poorly in the Test Survey Tool Intensify the articulation and planning with the other teachers, SAC, and Guidance. Use strategies which will make students appreciate the subject and understand the lesson Mapping of the learning plan based on the learning competencies in Biology Modifying the type of test aligned to the NAT format (P.T and L.T.) More drills/exercises and review Grade 4 and 5 teachers will be assigned to conduct review classes to grade six students once a week.

Compare the International Basic Learning Competencies with the learning competencies in the Philippines to make the necessary modification of scope and sequence. Conduct analyses of the P.T., quizzes, rubrics to diagnose student weakness Analyse the lesson objectives formulated by the teachers if they tap the HOTS Strictly implement the Protect Instruction Policy by maximizing the time on task Grade school teachers will introduce astronomy lessons while the first year will deepen astronomy lessons so that they will be able to discuss ecology lessons Recognize the 99ers to motivate the students to study harder Review will be conducted every Tuesday and Friday (3:15-4:15pm) Long range plan: consider the possibility of having the advanced biology in the first year aside from the regular General Science Identify the grade level skills based on the NAT Science result. Review the academic budget scope and sequence. Start the review program as early as October. Intensify the classroom intervention. Moving of 4th quarter lessons to 3rd quarter lessons vice versa. Strengthening the remedial program. Including the situational type of questions in the test.
