TPS-Technitube Rhrenwerke today - this is a privately
owned future-oriented company operating most modern,
worldwide renowned production mills for Oil- and Gasfield
Tubular Products, for Seamless Tubes in Stainless Steel
and Nickel Alloy Grades, for Extended Surface Tubes, i.e.
TECHNIFIN -Tubes and Studded Tubes and for Special
Piping and Tubing Products and Accessories. The
production mills of TPS-Technitube Rhrenwerke, located
on a total industrial area of more than 600,000 sq.ft. in
Daun/Germany in the centre of Europe have an excellent
worldwide reputation as reliable and competent
manufacturers of high quality piping and tubular products
and accessories.

TPS Non Upset and External Upset tubing fulfil the
stringent product requirements of API 5CT as well as those
of API Q1 and ISO 9000 on the manufacturing / manage-
ment system. Either seamless or welded tubes are proces-
sed as specified by the customer requirements and materi-
al specifications. Upsetting of the tubes is executed on
modern hydraulic, centric chucking upsetters with a subse-
quent heat treatment of the tubes according to the respec-
tive specification, quench and tempering or normalising.
Threading of the tubes is executed on up to date CNC
Turning lathes, which are integrated in two separately
equipped and operated production lines. This results in the
highest possible flexibility within the production. Control of
the finished threads is executed by qualified and skilled
personnel. Coupling make-up is carried out as specified by
the customer or specification, either handtight or power-
tight, locking/cementing of the couplings is also possible. A
computer controlled documentation of the make up torque

5CT sowohl an das Produkt, und nach API Q1 und ISO
9000 auch an das Fertigungssystem/-management gestellt
werden. Zur Verarbeitung kommen, je nach Kunden-
wunsch, nahtlose bzw. geschweite Rohre gem den
jeweiligen Anforderungen. Das Aufstauchen der Rohre
erfolgt auf modernen, hydraulischen, zentrischspannenden
Rohrschmiedepressen mit anschlieender Wrme-
behandlung der Rohre, je nach Spezifikation vergten oder
normalisieren. Das Gewinde wird auf modernen CNC-
Anlagen geschnitten. Hierfr stehen zwei voneinander
unabhngig eingerichtete Fertigungsstraen zur
Verfgung. Hierdurch wird ein Hchstma an Flexibilitt
innerhalb der Produktion erreicht. Die Gewindekontrolle
wird durch qualifiziertes und trainiertes Fachpersonal
sichergestellt. Die Muffenverschraubung erfolgt je nach
Kundenwunsch bzw. Spezifikation, hand- oder kraftver-

TPI
is available on request. The subsequent hydrostatic pres-
sure test is carried out as per API-Specification 5CT, not
only to the pipe body, but to the connection as well. As
standard TPS-Rhrenwerke uses either high quality plastic
or steel thread protectors. The standard mill coating for cor-
rosion protection is a durable, abrasion proof clear lacquer.
The type of corrosion protection and thread protectors can
be modified on request. Our quality control system uses up
to date measuring and monitoring equipment and is an
integrated part of our quality assurance system.

cher, abriebfester berzug, ist standardmig. Sowohl der
Korrosionsschutz als auch der Gewindeschutz knnen ent-
sprechend den Kundenanforderungen bzw.
Kundenwnschen modifiziert werden.
Unser Qualittskontrollsystem ist durch den Einsatz
modernster Me- und berwachungseinrichtungen als
wesentlicher Bestandteil eingefat in unser gesamtes
Qualittssicherungssystem.

External-Upset and Non-Upset execution as per API
