Serbia is located in the central part of the Balkan Peninsula, on the most important route linking Europe and Asia. Serbia is in the West European time zone (one hour ahead of Greenwich time) to the East Serbia borders with Bulgaria, to the North-East with Romania, to the North with Hungary, to the West with Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, to the South-West with Montenegro and to the South with Albania and Macedonia.

Climate is temperate continental with gradual transition between the four seasons of the year. Average temperature during the summer is around 28C Capital of Serbia is Belgrade, administrative, economic and cultural centre of the Republic. Other large cities with Universities, large industry and specific identity are Novi Sad, Ni and Kragujevac. The official language in Serbia is Serbian and the script in official use is Cyrillic, while Latin script is also used. Currency is Serbian dinar, 1 = 105 dinars

NAPSer is National Association of Pharmacy Students Serbia and it represents over 2000 pharmacy students in Serbia. There are three local organizations in NAPSer: BPSA (Belgrade Pharmacy Student`s Association) in Belgrade, PSANS (Pharmaceutical Students Association of Novi Sad) in Novi Sad and NiPSA (Nis Pharmacy Students Association) in Ni. All these organizations are involved in SEP so you can choose between these three cities. Here is some information that you need to know

*note: research is not available between 1st July and 1st October due to summer holiday

Accommodation in student dorms or with a family. For some students accommodation in student dorm is free while others have to pay for it.
