INTELLIGENT TRAFFIC LIGHT

CONTROL
DETAILS OF THE TECHNICAL PAPER :-

• Uses IR sensors to sense the vehicles.

• By 8051(IC) programming number of vehicles for each

road is counted. Therefore, the status of traffic is
observed.

• Accordingly the road which is having maximum

number of vehicles (i.e.-Heavy Traffic) is given green
light signal for longer time period and vice-versa.

ADVANTAGES :-

• The traffic gets regulated with efficient usage of time.

• Regulation of Traffic becomes completely automatic.

CONCLUSION:-

This is the project in progress to regulate the traffic of our

Capital DELHI.
