Brown Department of Computer Science, Teaching Assistant Providence, RI Spring 2010 - Present Collaborated with Professor Andy van Dam and 25 peers to develop course material for CS015, an introductory course in object-oriented programming with 200 students (Fall 2010, Fall 2011). Mentored 6 students, each working on independent final projects using MATLAB for CS004, a scientific computing course (Spring 2010, Spring 2011). Assisted students during office hours, ran lab sections, reviewed and graded programs, developed course projects and materials. Produced and edited videos meant to aid student understanding of material. VenueTap, Software Engineering Intern New York, NY Interned for a NYC startup engaged in nightlife reservations, developing in C# and ASP.NET. Implemented features for both frontend and backends of site, including revamping the existing reservation management system and helping to design the next generation of the site. Used SQL Server to modify and create stored procedures and tables, gaining experience in the utilization of version control with databases. Verizon, Inc., Information Technology Intern Basking Ridge, NJ Performed alpha testing of mobile media applications, conducted user experience surveys, and analyzed responses of trial customers. Individually designed, created, produced and deployed a company website for Mobile Impact, LLC, a wireless consulting company. Spring 2011 Designed and implemented a photo manipulation software application with a small team of students. Utilizes a gesture-based UI using the Microsoft Kinect and open source drivers, prior to the release of Microsofts Kinect SDK.

Acted as Information Technology officer for 2 years, creating a class website and managing social media outlets to better reach out to the class. Teamed with six other members of CCB 13 and with the other Class Boards to foster solidarity between students, alumni, and the community. Planned and executed events and activities for the school and class, such as a semi-formal Gala.
