Prior to Movement of Containers / Delivery of Cargo MCFSs Dues have to be cleared. Services tax and other govt. levies will be applicable at the prevailing rates at the time of billing. Payments of any charges are not a guarantee for services, which is STRICTLY on the completion of all custom and other statutory formalities. It is presumed that all consignments (Import/ Export) being received at CFS are adequately insured against all possible risk during transportation and storage and the Company (Mundhra Container Freight Station Pvt.Ltd..) assumes no Liability in this respect. An undertaking from shipper has to be provided in advance. In case of Export Cargo Like Cotton bales/fabrics/hazardous/dangerous goods copy of the valid insurance policy has to be provided in advance The cargo Details /weight/Pkgs etc.. declared by shipper on all documents is presumed to be S.T.C (Said To Contain). Container and cargo storage charges are reckoned on per day basis. Cargo storage charges are reckoned from the date of carting or de-stuffing to the date of stuffing or loading, both days inclusive. Cargo requiring any special services, dunnage or lashing materials or additional equipment for handling will be charged to the account of cargo. Shipping line will be required to pay any customs overtime required for work done at the CFS. Line should ensure that they inspect empty container when they are brought to the CFS before placing in CFS empty stack. Any requirement for inspection afterwards will be charged as per the service requested.
