We will also be releasing / tasting a NV Liqueur Verdelho, a blend of Verdelho barrels made by myself and past Yurisich generations over 75 years of fortified winemaking experience in the family. It will be released in our etched, 700mL decanters. This Verdelho based port is complementary to our Golden Georgia which is a Chardonnay/ Verdelho blend that has been attracting very positive comment since it was released last year. At Pinelli Estate, spring will also herald the long awaited release of our 2011 Reserve Verdelho that follows our 2010 and 2009 gold medal winning releases. Our winemakers have described the Verdelho from the2011 vintage as; Delicious fruit salad characters abound on the nose and palate with tropical characters of honeydew melon, banana and white nectarine. The palate is refined and has great structure with crisp acidity lending good length of flavour to the wine. Best enjoyed with a fillet of your favourite seafood such as snapper and dhufish. We invite you and your friends to visit our Cellar Door in October to taste our latest Verdelho release and other delicious wines from our Reserve range.
