Narrative
A narrative is a story that is created in a constructive format (as a work of speech, writing, song, film, television, video games, photography or theatre) that describes a sequence of fictional or non-fictional events. The word derives from the Latin verb narrare, "to recount", and is related to the adjective gnarus, "knowing" or "skilled".[1] Ultimately its origin is found in the Proto-Indo-European root gn-, "to know". The word "story" may be used as a synonym of "narrative", but can also be used to refer to the sequence of events described in a narrative. A narrative can also be told by a character within a larger narrative. An important part of narration is the narrative mode, the set of methods used to communicate the narrative through a process narration. Along with exposition, argumentation and description, narration, broadly defined, is one of four rhetorical modes of discourse. More narrowly defined, it is the fiction-writing mode whereby the narrator communicates directly to the reader. Stories are an important aspect of culture. Many works of art and most works of literature tell stories; indeed, most of the humanities involve stories. Owen Flanagan of Duke University, a leading consciousness researcher, writes that Evidence strongly suggests that humans in all cultures come to cast their own identity in some sort of narrative form. the earliest forms of entertainment. Narrative may also refer to psychological processes in self-identity, memory and meaning-making.

Description
Description is one of four rhetorical modes (also known as modes of discourse), along with exposition, argumentation, and narration. Each of the rhetorical modes is present in a variety of forms and each has its own purpose and conventions. Description is also the fiction-writing mode for transmitting a mental image of the particulars of a story.

Exposition
The exposition is paragraph essay that aims to inform you about something that expands the readers knowledge. Authorship of scientific exposition of nature / nonfiction. The source of this article can be obtained from observation, study or experience. This is where the difference by writing a description. Description essay aims to illustrate / describe something so as if readers say so myself. Authorship description can be scientific or nonilmiah. Essay source obtained from observation, developing, and research, and imagination. Paragraph of exposition is not always divided into sections called opening, closing. It really depends of the nature of essay and objective to be achieved. This essay aims to prove the truth of an opinion / conclusion with the data / facts as reasons / evidence. In the author's

argument justifying his opinion expects from the reader. Any element of opinions and data, as well as fact or reason as an advocate for that opinion.
