Weekly Update
This Sunday, October 2, 2011
Association Sunday Celebrating Excellence in Ministries Rev. Wendy Pantoja We will join thousands of Unitarian Universalists across the continent and beyond in arming our common bonds and purposes on the fth annual Association Sunday. Honoring that connection and common vision can be a spiritually fullling and empowering experience. Funds from our special collection will be joined with those of other congregations to support the continuing education of our religious professionals and of programs that lead to vibrant, thriving congregations.
The theme of the fth annual Association Sunday is Celebrating Exce!ence in Ministries! This year, the UUA is partnering with the UU Ministers Association, the UU Musicians Network, the Liberal Religious Educators Association, and other professional organizations to make this the largest celebration yet! Proceeds from this service will be distributed as grants to support scholarships, continuing education, an assessment of our ministries and other projects that help religious professionals get the ongoing training they need to support thriving congregations. Thank you for growing our faith in one another and our way in religion. We are better together!
