DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT: The Casualty UI Project Phase 1C is the Extension of phase 1B, wherein the entire application is being rolled out to 47 different countries. The Phase 1b creates an end-to-end Underwriting management interface for ACEs Casualty Department which leverages Portal, PEGA and BizTalk technologies to substantially address process inefficiencies, standardize rating and improve information sharing between UK sub-divisions, existing back-end applications and to book policies and transactions in Genius. In Phase 1a, the Casualty UI streamlined the underwriting process by seamlessly integrating Apollo with First Rate and superseding the majority of the bespoke spreadsheets. Phase 1b will extend the Casualty UI along the underwriting process by integrating with the UK booking system (Genius).ACE Casualty UI Phase 1b Project leveraged BizTalk Server 2006 R2 to integrate the same between PEGA Application and GWS Application Responsibility As a Integration developer my role was: Gather requirements from onsite and prepare design documents for the BizTalk interfaces Design and development of BizTalk artifacts like Schemas, Maps, Orchestrations, Business Rule, Custom Pipeline components. Providing KT to the Entire Team. Analyzing the External System (GENIUS) the Service (GWS) Exposed for the External System & monitoring the same. Configure the Servers for the test Environment (played the Role BizTalk Administrator). Support & Performance Tuning.
