CourseDescriptionandGoals ThiscourseservesasanintroductiontotheoriesandprinciplesofEnglishlanguageteaching, languageacquisition,andareviewofvariousmethodsandapproachesusedinlanguage teaching,leadingtoanunderstandingofthedevelopmentofthecommunicativeapproach. ProvidesopportunitiesforpeerteachingandrequiresobservationofEnglishlanguage classes,alongwithtutoringorteachingofEnglishtononnativespeakers.Thegoalsofthis courseinclude: 1. LibraryBasedResearchPaperonAspectsCoveredinELTI. Thisisaresearchpaper reviewing68journalarticlesorbookchaptersonatopicofyourchoiceintheAPAstyle. Selectionofthetopicisdueon10/5(tobeemailedforinstructorsapproval).By11/2, submitahardcopyofyourresourcesandalsopostittoDiscussionBoardunder LibraryBasedResearchPaperResources.Thefinalpaperisdueon12/7.
