Note: 1 "Total" which is the sum of "Post-paid SIM" and "Pre-paid SIM" has included "Activated Pre-paid SIM", "2.5G+3G Customers" and "MVNO Customers" etc.
2 "Activated Pre-paid SIM" are those pre-paid SIM cards which have been activated (or used at least once) by customers and are not yet expired.
3 "3G customers" refer to those (1) who are registered as 3G customers or purchase pre-paid SIM cards for 3G services; and (2) who are not registered as 3G customers or
do not purchase pre-paid SIM cards for 3G services, but have used 3G services at least once in the month. "Using 3G services" means that the 3G frequencies have been used for providing services.
The figures include customers of pre-paid SIM cards.
4 "MVNO Customers" refer to customers of the mobile virtual network operators.
5 The number of short messages sent and received includes messages between mobile customers as well as messages sent to mobile customers from fixed locations and vice versa.
6 "Per Mobile Customer" refers to the per mobile customer of "Post-paid SIM" and "Activated Pre-paid SIM".
7 The figures of mobile data usage for year 2010 have been adjusted in accordance with the revised data provided by the mobile operator.
8 The figures include 4G customers.
