ED 215 Lesson Plan 4

M. Rozga

When I was little, I used to carry around my teddy everywhere I went. I was happy just like Owen when I was with my teddy. Participation Did any of you carry around a blanket or teddy just like Owen? How did it make you feel? Did you feel sad like Owen when your teddy or blanket had to stay home? Practice Now that we know how we felt with our favorite things, lets talk compare our feelings to Owens. When I went to get shots, I would bring my teddy along, just like Owen brought Fuzzy to the doctor. Performance While the students share their comparative short stories, I will remind them to connect it to Owen. This is the time that I will be taking some quick notes. Closure We did a great job of comparing our feelings with Owens feelings. We can understand the stories that we read better if we can compare the characters with ourselves.
