y name is Elena Oh and I am currently attending Yongsan International School of Seoul. I am an independent lady who lived in a foreign country away from my family since I was in second grade. My goal in the future is to expand my knowledge by getting high quality education and become a psychological counselor who can always listen and help those who suffer from mental adversities. This goal will be achieved by following my career plan. Undergraduate Education I will be attending a large, well-known university or college and major in psychology and counseling. Studying psychology will allow me to broaden my view and understanding of people's mental status. Also, pursuing undergraduate education in the United States will provide me to interact and experience with diverse group of people from different background and culture which significantly effects their psychology. Moreover, learning how to effectively counsel others will help me to give best advice possible. First Career After having experienced in volunteer services at mental counseling centers and traveling around the world to interact with diverse people suffering from psychological hardships, I will now look for a job as an intern or substitution psychological counselor in a mental counseling clinic center. Since becoming an official counselor requires more education and work experience, I will do my best to get the most out of my first experience and learn from other professional counselors. Development in Career Now that I have experienced how counseling clinic center works, I will extend my education in psychological counseling by attending a graduate school and obtaining a master's degree in professional counseling. I will continue working as an intern or substitution counselor, and after getting my degree, I will be able to work as a certified counselor who can help people effectively. Final Ideal Career Plan After getting employed and working as a certified professional psychological counselor, I will start my own clinic center in the United States where I can help those suffering from emotional issues from diverse background.
