UFAN Client Questionnaire UFAN 2011
Case Eligibility Consultation: A UFAN legal assistant has assisted you in walking through the required case eligibility questionnaire. Your specific information will be provided to a UFAN attorney who is licensed in the state of California. Once your retainer and initial fee is received, your free attorney consultation will be scheduled to make a final determination of your eligibility for either individual or joinder litigation. If the attorney decides that your case is not economically feasible, any amounts paid for litigation will be returned to you within 30 days. Because of the poor business practices uniformly conducted by the banks, most clients will likely benefit from legal action. Case Management: Through a combination of online case management software, customer support, and litigation webinars, clients will have open communication and support throughout the litigation process. UFAN Lawsuit Pre-Disclosures: 1. 2.
UFAN legal assistants do not practice law nor provide legal opinions. Representatives facilitate intake and client boarding processes by providing and reviewing authorized materials provided by UFAN Licensed attorneys. Clients will officially be engaged with UFAN upon completion of the following documents. A) Signed client eligibility questionnaire and
disclosure document.B) Signed Client Engagement Packet. C) Attorney Consultation. Once these stages are complete a client has officially retained the law firm of UFAN for litigation services.
3. 4. 5.
UFAN cannot and will not provide a guarantee of any specific outcome. The decision to pursue litigation is a calculated decision based on
various case and legal precedence. UFAN does not provide modification services or alternative loss mitigation services. Litigation alone does not provide protection for clients in default of their mortgage from possible foreclosure. While it is true many lenders will cease foreclosure activities on clients who have engaged in litigation with their lender, foreclosure defense must be specifically requested and address in the client retainer. UFAN utilizes attorneys and non-attorneys assigned to support clients with intake, boarding, case management, and litigation support. UFAN is not licensed to practice law in all 50 states. When judicial circumstances and venues require, UFAN will retain licensed litigation support in each judicial venue.
6. 7.
During the course of litigation UFAN may request documents from retained clients. In addition clients agree to fully comply with all
reasonable requests regarding the prosecution of this case. Clients agree to review all provided documentation throughout the intake process. Clients are encouraged to review all client engagement
documents in order to properly understand the legal relationship between client and UFAN.
