Chart Description The above chart demonstrates the job requirements of a Client Technology Center Analyst. That is the position I wish to have as my next level of gainful employment. It is actually a stepping stone to get myself position inside a lucrative company, Aon Hewitt. They pay well, I have worked there previously, but as a temporary agent. I have a reference that currently works there, it is close to my home and school, I get to wear business casual attire.

Self v Job Analysis In many of the areas of comparison I notice that I am either meeting or exceeding their asking requirements. I see that as a plus. The areas where I am not meeting their requirements are the computer languages. I do have a limited background in multiple languages. The best part of that is that computer languages are very similar in theory, therefore the syntax is the only hurdle to overcome most times when transitioning between platforms.

Transitioning the Gap The transition should not be painful because I am mentally capable of compartmentalizing. That lends itself well to not crossing one languages syntax with another languages syntax. Positive yet ironic, I speak three different communication

languages: English, Spanish, and American Sign Language. I speak four if we count slang, also known as Ebonics. My transitioning the gap between my skill set and my potential employers asking points is not as vast as most. I do know I want to shoot for a higher position once my tenure reaches their level of when an employee can internally apply for another position. Though I am focused on acquiring this position, this career project and its research have grown my curiosity in a number of other companies. Some of those companies may not have as competitive a starting salary as Aon Hewitt, but I am still very willing to engage upon their career path if I see it will be more fulfilling or if I see it may be a better fit for me. Aon Hewitt only offers internships to their partner Universities, and as of the present UNCC is not one of them.
