This letter is an application for the process of summer internship in the financial domain at your esteemed corporation. I would like to take an opportunity to understand and work on the basics of financial management spread across fields which include but are not limited to the following - Equity research, capital markets, risk Assessment, merchant banking, treasury, project finance, corporate finance etc. A thorough training process backed by the knowledge learnt through my curriculum would enable me to understand the whole process on a much higher note. I am currently pursuing my M.B.A from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM) Pune, specializing in finance. I firmly believe in the famous saying A strong foundation makes a strong building, and hence it becomes imperative to have a proper ground work in the fields mentioned above along with the theoretical knowledge attained in the curriculum. I have always tried to maintain a balance in life giving equal stress on my studies as well as my extra-curricular activities. I have been good at studies along with performing equally well in sports and other extra-curricular activities. I feel my passion to learn and perform are the key drivers that enable me to strive for greater heights. I am a thorough team player and have had opportunities to lead my team in sports as well as my professional life. I have had a proper experience with a number of corporate offices including Accenture Services Pvt. Ltd (16 months) and Avaya Global connect Ltd., Gurgaon. Along with this I have worked on places spread across the country including NCR, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune and Hyderabad and find myself easily adaptable to new work and surroundings without much difficulty. Being a software engineer by profession and qualified Electronics engineer acts as my USP which would help me bind knowledge from technology as well as management in to the task assigned to me. I have worked as an Analyst and Design architect with Accenture Services Pvt. Ltd. And this helped me enhance my analytical skills which are most important for a financial job. I find myself comfortable with numbers and passionate towards how finance plays a major role in any industry. Although I have a limited knowledge of what I have learnt in my first semester but I feel I would be able to implement it in the actual scenario. I am looking forward to a healthy communication from your side in future.
