Job Description and Responsibilities


We are hiring new or recent graduates to join our equity derivatives proprietary trading team
in Hong Kong through offering an initial one year training program. Permanent contract will
be offered after one year given satisfactory performance. You will be given on-the-job
training and will have the opportunity to participate and work with a wide spectrum of
proprietary trading strategies in equity and credit derivatives, including convertible bond
trading, volatility trading, statistical arbitrage, and other equity and credit derivatives trading.
You will help us set up innovative strategies from the project phase, through generating
trading ideas and searching for optimal solution, to the live phase, through trading tool
development and strategy implementation.
Requirements
- Degree in quantitative/mathematical finance, mathematics, engineering, actuarial science,
computer science or equivalent (Bachelor / Master / Ph.D.)
- Have knowledge and strong interest in finance (knowledge in quantitative finance is
definitely a plus)
- With 1st class honor, or cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above
- Have strong analytical skills and highly numerate
- Strong mathematical background with knowledge in statistics and probabilities
- Good at and have experience in programming, including VBA and C# ( or C++ or C )
- Fluent in English
- Able to cope with high pressure and maintain accuracy of works
- Have strong drive to excel
