A church after Gods own heart is a church with the heartbeat of God. As fire exists by burning so the church exists by mission. (Emil Brunner) Our God is in the business of building His church. He is a missionary God and His church must be a missionary church.

THREE CHARACTERISTICS OF A MISSIONARY CHURCH:

I. A CHURCH THAT GROW. We will never grow if we dont go. Going and growing are inseparable. Four guidelines in going: *G____________ because you love people. *R____________ out to where they are. *O____________ your life to them *W____________ them to Christ. I have become all to all men so that I may win some.. (1 Corinthians 9:22)

II. A CHURCH THAT KNOW. We cant go if we dont know. Knowing our mission is essential to going. Four truths we should know about our mission: *K____________ who send us in this mission. *N____________ what kind of authority is in this mission. *O____________ the goal of this mission. *W____________ them to church through baptism is part of this mission. The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few. (Luke 10:2) III. A CHURCH THAT SHOW. People will not know if we dont show. Four characteristics that show we are following Christ: *S____________ up to His teachings *H____________ Him through our obedience *O____________ all His teachings *W____________ with Jesus day by day If anyone loves me, he will obey my teachings..
