A Site Fabricated items Check for respecive region material rates, fabrication rates, erection rates. ( example ready columns, tanks, heat exchangers, tube of specific length etc.) 6 Check for use of standard available sizes 7 Check for specific codes & standards to be followed & it's impact on costing C Bought Out Items 1 Check for taxes & duties for imported itmes with respect to region I consultation with DMLT 2 Check for evaluated vender offers for specific items like PHE, pumps etc. (case to case basis if applicable) 3 Check for cost & delivery time for specific makes items if any. 4 Check for updated rate contracts for various items like pumps, motors, PHE, agitators etc. 5 Check for additional cost on rate contract if requirement is specific (Example - EFF2 motors, double mechnical seal for pumps & similar such requirements)

D Lot Items ( Piping, fitting & valves, Electrical, Instrumentation) 1 Check for Plot plan to work out interconnecting piping cost 2 Check for piping standards & codes to be followed & impact of the same on costing in consultation with Piping & DMLT dept. 3 Check for valves makes, include impact for specific makes if any 4 Check for cost of IBR piping if any 5 Check for Electrical standards & codes to be followed 6 Check for electrical items make, include impact for specific makes in consultation with Electrical & DMLT dept. 7 Are costings received from Electrical dept for costing like PCC, PCC to MCC cabling, transformer, DG set if applicable 8 Check for Instrumentation standards & codes to be followed 9 Check for instrumentation items make, include impact for specific makes in consultation with Electrical & DMLT dept. Check for any specific requirement which will lead higher cost ( Example SMART positioner in control valve are costlier than Non 10 SMART pneumatic type positioner) E Civil & structure Are tentative layout & elevation drawings prepared to work out civil & structural cost ( Or have you referred any previous project, 1 propsoals - keep record for the same) 2 Is plot plan discussed with client to work out civil cost 3 Is site data confirmed by client ( example SBC) 4 Is site visited by our civil engineer before preparing civil & structure cost 5 Check for all the additional expenses required for civil & structural work ( specific case like pile foundation ) 6 Check for material & labor rates considered for civil & structure with respect to region E Package items 1 Are costings & offer received from TEBP 2 Are techno-comercial offers received from various venders like WTP, Fire fighting, Lab equipment 3 If offers are not taken then what basis is considred ( written records are must, not only verbal commitment from venders)

Fees. 6 Are expenses considered for travelling, communication, documentation etc. 7 Are expenses considered for financial activities like bank guarantee charges, government fees if any 8 Are all type of duties considered for imported items 9 Are service charges considered if applicable 10 Are price escalation for raw material and currency exchange considered 11 Check for additional expenses due to delay in project completion ( LD clauses) 12 Check for warehouse charges 13 Are site execution expenses included 14 Is any contingency considered in the costing
