3. Call Tracking 1. Order Management: The Order Management Module Involves the Core Business of Elsevier, it includes Agreements,Approvals,Invoice,Licensing which is used by the sales Representatives and it covers the entire sales cycle of an order Using the CRM System Sales Representatives will Price, Tax and offer the Products to the customers. 2. Sales Pilot: Sales pilot involves General entities like Account, Contact, and Opportunity, Revenue Forecasting which are used by the sales Team in their business Cycle. 3. Call Tracking Call tracking is used by the Support team; it involves the solving queries raised by the customers. The CRM system will monitor all inbound and outbound Communications between Customer and Support team, Support team will solve the Queries and sends Email to Customer using CRM System.

Overview of the e-Taxing Interface:

Before billing, taxing should be done for the particular order with details of agreement, shipment, and Line Items. Taxation in CRM is tedious process also out of CRM practice. So it is processed in an External application called As Tax-ware. To integrate with tax-ware the concept of outbound web service is used in which a proxy business service (web service) is called from Siebel.

Responsibilities:
Studied the requirement and high-level design for the Taxing process and prepared the Low-level design document to configure the application and interfacing of the system with external systems with Siebel Integration capabilities. Customized the out-of-the-box using Siebel Tools creating and modifying business objects, business components, views, screens and applets. Involved in the configuration of Static & Dynamic Picklists using Joins and LOVs. Customized Pick Applets, configured MVGs using Links, MVLs and MVFs. Customized the application creating workflows, business services, custom buttons using Siebel eScript and implemented other declarative alternatives like User properties and data validation methods. Developed inbound / outbound Workflows, Workflow Policies and Workflow Actions for automation of taxing processes and integrating with the external systems. Created Custom business services, Siebel EAI Business Services, Integration objects, EAI Data Mapper, XML Converter and EAI HTTP to Integrate Siebel data in external systems. Worked on Outbound Web Services to combine component-based development and Internet standard protocols that include HTTP, XML, Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), and Web Services Description Language (WSDL).

GTS offering various products to their customers likes Cash, Securities, Funds & Cards. With Siebel Financial Services CRM, Implementing Opportunity Order Management Solution with help of Marketing (Campaign Management). This Implementation process starts in deals creation ends in asset creation involves various sales cycles with intermediate states like Addition / Deletion / Configuring Products, Quote customization, Activity creation with status roll up, Order creation.

A. Implementation of WMS:
Workflow Management System (WMS) is an application for processing / reserving account number for an account or company. In CRM, We have a product to open a new account for a branch, to allocate an account number; we are integrating with WMS system. Involves Outbound Webservices & XML Processing.

Responsibilities:
Designing workflows for configuring proxy BS & created customized business for processing XML , Data Manipulation. Modification and customization of Siebel Business Objects, Business Components and User Interfaces like Screens, Applets and Views. Implemented other declarative alternatives like User properties and data validation methods. Workflow Policies and Workflow Actions for automation of status rollup. Impact analysis & Preparing design document Unit Testing with test case preparation. Supporting helpdesk team if any issues in LIVE the Deals.

B .Building Product Models:

Creating new products or Enhancing existing model for the business needs, improving the performance of the product customization, migrating the models from one environment to the others.

Outbound web services VBC (Virtual Business Component)

Project Description
www.webservicex.net is the free web service providers, through HTTP protocol with well structured format called SOAP. They offered more than 30 services in that one of the best, also we need that is STOCK QUOTE, which takes ticker symbol of a particular Stock as input and outcomes are Price, Market Cap, Volume, % of change and more information with current date & time. From Siebel side just an outbound web service request with one field value SYMBOL which gives all information about the stock as a hierarchical SOAP response. These details should be viewed in UI through Object Layer where transforming and mapping are done. Here no need of Data Layer to store it where interfacing is in real time, which is also possible with magical concept called VBC.
