Add live projects in achievements All-Terrain Vehicle or ATV The term All-Terrain Vehicle or ATV is used in general sense to describe any of a number of small open motorized buggies designed for off-road use. However, the American National Standards Institute ANSI defines an ATV as a vehicle that travels on low pressure tyres, with a seat that is straddled by the operator, and with handlebars for steering control. By the current ANSI definition, it is intended for use by a single operator. The rider sits on and operates these vehicles like a motorcycle or a car depending upon its frame layout, but the extra wheel width give it more stability at high speeds and sharp uneven turns. Although typically equipped with three or four wheels, six wheel models exist for specialized applications. Engine sizes of ATVs currently for sale in the United States range from 49cc to 1000cc and 49cc to 700cc for two stroke ATVs. ATVs can also be considered off road Vehicles. 3-Axis CNC Milling Machine This project is based on a computer controlled carver. This device and accompying software take a computer generated or scanned image and translates it into a series of control signals that are designed to control a motorized carving bit moved along a table with three axis movement. This

carving bit then carves, into the material on the CNC table, whatever the software has from furniture construction to cabinet building and custom wood. This machine allows an operator to carve accurately almost any needed quickly and efficiently. In order for these machines to operate properly a set of motor control circuits must translate the control signals from the computer into actual voltage changes to drive the 3 motors precisely. This project will be the design and construction of these motor control circuit boards. In this project we plan to build a set of boards that could be used to make a medium duty, machine that would be affordable to the general public.
