The Classic Always Works

Today is the perfect time for Classic music to obtain the same recognition as others. Being stereotyped as an expensive and old genre of music, we are from Backside Community helped by Braga Caf & Craft Bandung want to change that perception. An idea in increasing the interest and introducing classic music came into mind especially with classic crossover emerged recently. The only way to achieve this objective is by creating an event performing different kind of music interpretation by various talents. Given title, the Classic Always Works this is a pilot project in conducting one series of event to promote the classic music and its musicians. Music performed today will be an adaptation of classic music to todays taste with an expectation there will be more people could enjoy the performances and of course the music itself. This event is expected to be the pioneer in promoting classic music to younger audience. Had it succeeded, there will be another series of events coming up and hopefully with your help we could make it works. The organizer of the Classic Always Works is lucky to have the support from Braga Cafe & Craft (Bandung) to use their premise in holding the event. We would also like to thank Teropong, PJTV, STV, SUAVE magazine, Pratama Sound, Purwa Caraka Music Studio, all talents and Backside community for making this event come true. We realize that this event may not perfect but we really appreciated your concern and interest in participating by coming and supporting us. Inside this event guide book, you will find information about the talents and the composers. In the end, we hope you enjoy the show. It is time to sit back, relax and take the pleasure of classic music.

Session IV Musik Klasik 3 Musik Klasik 3 Bandung is one intern extra-curricular group provided for students of SMAN 3 Bandung who has strong feeling for music in general but still has a strong nuance of classic music. Years gone by and there are more than expected members uniting on each and every year. Musik Klasik SMAN 3 Bandung, abbreviated as MK3 has performed in many concerts both inside and outside the school trying to increase the awareness of classic music and their existences. Through every sweat they had splurged and soul flowing through the notes, members of MK3 have committed themselves in sharing the beauty of every harmonic melody to the audience. For Musik Klasik 3, music is more than just one form of art. Music is a part of their soul. Music is on their heart beat. Born in London on 10th April 1995, Nadia has been learning piano at Association Board of Royal School of Music and received the highest score on the convocation. Debussy was a central figure in European music of the turn of the 20th century and among the most important of all French composers. His works often formed around one key or pitch reflected the activities and turbulence in his own life. His music virtually defines the transition from late romantic music to modernist music. The style of this period was known as symbolism in French literary circles which inspired Debussy both as a composer and as active cultural participant. Along with Maurice Ravel, he was one of the most prominent figures working within the field of impressionist music though he himself intensely disliked the term when applied to his compositions. Song List : Bibo No Aozora Composed by Ryuichi Sakamoto Clair de Lune Composed by Debussy
