The workshop will be an interactive open forum with critical issues introduced by industry leaders, and extensive peer to peer discussion with John Canterford in the chair. Operations, management, engineers, financiers and consultants will find this workshop valuable. Cost: A$990.00 Register early, places limited! Workshop 2 Wednesday 10 August, 9.00 am 5.00 pm So You Have a Project? Tips to Avoid the Pitfalls of Project Development For executives and managers of junior companies, financiers and consultants involved in planning, developing and executing a project. Operations and engineering professionals who wish to broaden their familiarity in these areas where risk is high will find the workshop useful. Many projects fail because unforseen problems arise, even for global companies. Understanding the sequence of steps to avoid such situations will be outlined by speakers including senior engineers from major consulting groups including a session on use of geometallurgy in project planning, an exploration manager, a company director, and speakers who will cover financing and ASX requirements.
