PennDOT - Deadline Monitoring for Maintenance Plans (Batch Input IP10) (IP30) Purpose Use this procedure to call

a specific or group of maintenance plans during a specified call period. Trigger Perform this procedure when you want to schedule maintenance plans using specific criteria. Processing Time and Fuel based maintenance plans are automatically called 45 days prior to their due date. This transaction is used to manually call specific maintenance plans which will come due within the number of days specified on this transaction. Menu Path Use the following menu path(s) to begin this transaction: Select Logistics Plant Maintenance Preventive Maintenance Maintenance Planning Scheduling for Maintenance Plans Deadline Monitoring to go to the Deadline Monitoring for Maintenance Plans (Batch Input IP10) screen

Procedure 1. Start the transaction using the menu path or transaction code.

Deadline Monitoring for Maintenance Plans (Batch Input IP10)

This transaction can be run for a single maintenance plan or a group of maintenance plans. When you run this transaction use either the Maintenance plan field or the MaintPlan sort field but not both. 2. As required, complete/review the following fields in the Deadline monitoring for maintenance plans screen section: Field Name Maintenance plan R/O/C/D O Description Group of maintenance items, which are periodically called and which generate notifications. Example: MaintPlan sort field O 902 Used to designate maintenance plan type. This is the primary field used to run this transaction. For equipment purposes, choose 'TIME' or 'FUEL' from the drop-down list. Example: Call objects for n days R Example: TIME 45 Number of days forward to look for maintenance plan due dates.

Verify that the Rescheduling incl.

checkbox is selected.

This checkbox causes SAP to reschedule the maintenance plans that match your selection criteria.

Verify that the Immediate start for all

checkbox is selected.

This checkbox causes SAP to

immediately start all maintenance plans that match your selection criteria. Do not execute without inputting selection criteria. This transaction will execute ALL maintenance plans in SAP if selection criteria are not used. 5. Select the EXECUTE icon.

The report is a list of items that matched your search criteria and the results of the batch job.
