ADVANTAGES OF E-HR

Every organization needs effective administration system which enables the organization to stay ahead of competition in this competitive world, organization needs a system which lessens the effort of the workforce and increase their productivity by some means, then using automation can address this issue. E-HR which literally means automation of function of HRM gives the following advantages: ADVANTAGES OF E-HR: E-HR uses HRIS (human resource information system) which collects the interrelated components, processes, stores and presents a snapshot of the information related to human resources for decision making and then enables a human resource manager to actively proceed with the HRM functions. E-HR enables the organization to be ahead in the competitive world as it supports the HR functions in a robust way which inturn increases the productivity of human resources of the organization. There are many software vendors who provide the HR related application software out of which PeopleSoft, SAP are the best. E-HR produces many reports related to human resources. E-HR is a strategic tool as it goes takes care of functions like reviewing resumes, updating information about the employee etc.. E-HR is capable enough to handle tasks like attendances, benefits and payroll etc Transaction processing will be improved as it take almost 70% of the time of HR managers and hence usage of software enabled HRM decreases the time and increases productivity in no time. The software systems have made even employees a part of HRM as E-HR provides online processing where in employees can enter the information from their own place. E-HR has significantly improved the reporting capability as department wide and organization wide reports are readily available at the cost of click. E-HR has integrated all the components of HR like record keeping, pay roll, appraisal etc A software application of PeopleSoft provides promotions, salary increases, transfers and other forms throughout the organization.

E-HR helps in finding the right talent; it helps in hiring the best workforce. It also helps in delivering training according to the developments in the organization. E-HR also addresses the issues of succession planning, compensation planning etc. E-HR reduces the human errors.
