Pennsylvania State Parks allows pets in designated campsites in 47 state park campgrounds, but not every campsite allows pets. If you have a pet, you must use one of the designated pet sites. Other Pennsylvania state parks prohibit pets in overnight areas. Pets are only dogs, cats and caged animals (such as birds and hamsters). A pet is not livestock, like horses, cows, pigs, sheep and goats. Caged pets will not be released from their cage for the duration of their stay in the state park. No more than two non-caged pets are allowed to stay on any one campsite.
