Permaculture Design Certificate Fall 2011 - Winter 2012 Design-build yourself a resilient future.
Permaculture is a framework for applying integrated design principles and practical skills in all areas of a sustainable life. The Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) Course is an internationally accredited program developed by permaculture-co-founder Bill Mollison to teach principles and foundations of sustainable design. This course is uniquely useful to gardeners, homeowners, farmers, community organizers, planners, & design professionals. It is offered 1 weekend a month over 6 months, in 80 contact hours organized around a student design project.
Though the problems of the world are increasingly more complex, the solutions remain embarrassingly simple...
If you are working toward resiliency & a sustainable future, & want practical tools & techniques, this course is for you. Our classrooms include a 25-years organic farm in Nottingham and a typical suburban lot in Manchester. Hands-on experience, group discussion, lectures, field trips, design exercises & multimedia presentations suit a range of learning styles.
Tuition for this course is $1000 & includes local organic lunches provided on site. Course graduates will receive a Permaculture design certificate. To register or get more details, visit our website or contact Lauren/jo - details below.
