PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL CAPACITIES The tourist animation and recreation arose with the purpose of offering the

clients something different. The tourists conform to less and less with regular programs of sun, beach, food, disco nights. The figure of the animator appears to make the clients more participative and have the opportunity of distraction and entertainment, contributing to the increment of the social relationships and the satisfaction of the interests and people's necessities in its free time. More and more, although not enough, lodgings and tourist companies are adapting their facilities and infrastructure for people with special capacities. Facilitating rooms in the first floor, accessible telephones for clients in wheelchairs, roomy bathrooms, elevators with buttons in Braille, luminous and acoustic signs, ramps, among others. But a bigger consideration should exist to these clients, with relation to a better use of their free time. In many hotels these guests with special educational necessities or incapacity, don't find equality of opportunities when being excluded of the animation programs. The animators recognize a series of limitations to assist them such as the lack of patience, tolerance and inclusion, including the lack of materials and adapted facilities. The program must possess qualified personal in animation to work with these guests and an animation program that allows integrating them with the other clients. To adapt the activities to them, to play volleyball all seated people with special capacities and those that are not lowering the net and sitting down with the other ones, it would be a rewarding activity since the people with special capacities can participate and those who are not can enjoy a new experience. Chess, table tennis or any other sport. Negative feelings and stereotypes should be eliminated and to know the different types of incapacity and activities to carry out for each one of them.

ANIMATION FOR PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL ATTENTIONS The service to clients that possess any type of physical or mental limitation must be carried out in base of a planned recreational program and organized according to the characteristics of the group. These groups are: Deaf Blind and visual weak Impeded by physical -motor limitations - The recreational activities to carry out understand all the ages and the idea is to satisfy and to achieve that they enjoy and integrate to a social group without being rejected. - The activities should be carefully selected, according to the characteristics of special attention that they need. - The animator should not possess negative feelings toward them (fear-prejudice-myths). When you speaks with this type of client do it directly with him and not only with their companion, only he can give explanations and instructions because he knows better his necessities and possibilities. The accessible tourism is a wonderful tool that foments the development of the visual, auditory, verbal, and tactile perceptions. It doesn't sometimes depend on big budgets but of the common sense to offer the tourist an appropriate treatment obeying the psychological profile of their incapacity or special necessities. It is admirable when a blind person touches the cold face of a sculpture, plaque, etc., they rotate their face and they smile in direction to the place where they know the rest of the public is. This expression is of great satisfaction and worth more than words. It is necessary to foment an active participation of it doesn't matter the age, the nationality, the origin, it is based on the life of the attraction that communicates through their lines, the scent, the temperature, the noise, the silence. It is worthwhile to motivate a group of seers tourists to close their eyes and perceive as the blind people the aroma of jasmines, to listen the sound of the birds, a cascade. Accessible tourism is a group of activities originated during the free time oriented to the tourism and active or passive recreation that facilitate the full integration of any person beyond its psychic, sensorial or physical capacities in an open or closed atmosphere, in a cultural environment or enjoying nature.

The active recreation contains a deeper experience than the passive one, implies a participation sense and the feeling that is part of the same atmosphere, different to contemplate a landscape from the bus. At the moment it is necessary to integrate a group that includes old people, children, blinds, and people with a baby in arms, short and tall people, and obese individuals or with restricted mobility. For the full development of individuals it is needed to potentialize their trust in themselves, the independence and the feelings of solidarity (individual, of couple and groups). Deficiency: loss or abnormality of a structure, kinesiology or anatomical function. Incapacity: Restriction or absence of the capacity of carrying out an activity in a normal way. Development of motor abilities: erect head to contemplate the bird nest, to describe through the tact molds and reliefs of a historical monument. To greet, to relate with other people, to structure critical, analytic and creative behavior: to discover with a tactile recognition of a painting, to stimulate emotional development: to sing for example.

ANIMATION AND PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL CAPACITIES We can say that the special animation for people with special capacities, as such, doesn't exist; it is an adaptation of those offered according to the characteristics of these people, avoiding create special activities that could cause exclusion to this type of clients. All that supposes the creation of a minority group separated, independent, it will be the creation of a marginal and irrelevant group. It is then not to form special animators but forming professionals that are capable of working at the same time with all type of people and to integrate people with some incapacity in the leisure activities that are offered and developed. This concept is related with the inclusion. It is necessary to keep the following tips in mind:

To learn the limitations that comprise the incapacity and to discover the possibilities of
adaptation of the activity. To possess a bigger answer capacity in front of the situations that can arise with the development of their professional work. To foment the respect and the tolerance among the group. To eradicate the feeling of pain or pity toward people with special capacities. To be advised technically to adapt the activities without prejudice of the other clients.

Sometimes there is someone in charge of the persons with special capacities. In this case it is very useful to have their advice and recommendations to be able to realize better activities of animation and recreation. It is also important to suppress architectural barriers for example: easy access for people with special capacities and for their mobility inside the area. It should be wide doors, ramps, appropriate services, etc.

ANIMATION FOR PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL ATTENTION Its very important to eliminate any type of architectural barriers to facilitate the access of wheelchairs and the animation program must be planned according to the audience. They could be people Deaf Blind People with physical disability Mental retard or down problems People who manage this kind of audience must be conscious about it. It doesnt matter the age of the audience; the idea is to achieve the joy and fun of these people, who are afraid of being discriminate. The selection of the activities must be done very carefully. The animator must forget about negative feelings of-fear, myths, and prejudices and be informed and ask if they need some help. Be prepared to listen NO. Dont be offended. The animator must speak directly to the person, not with anybody else, because he is the only one who knows his own necessities and possibilities. Animation is an option for them to enjoy vacations, so the animator must be a very good leader and animator.
