Forgiveness leads to Anger Management for Healthy Life Forgiveness:Forgiveness may be considered simply in terms of the person who

forgives including forgiving themselves, in terms of the person forgiven or in terms of the relationship between the forgiver and the person forgiven. In practical terms, it may be necessary for the offender to offer some form of acknowledgment, apology or even just ask for forgiveness, in order for the wronged person to believe himself able to forgive. Most world religions include teachings on the nature of forgiveness, and many of these teachings provide an underlying basis for many varying modern day traditions and practices of forgiveness. Some religious doctrines or philosophies place greater emphasis on the need for humans to find some sort of divine forgiveness for their own shortcomings, others place greater emphasis on the need for humans to practice forgiveness of one another, yet others make little or no distinction between human and divine forgiveness. Forgiveness, is still, and quietly does nothing. It merely looks, and waits, and judges not. He who would not forgive must judge, for he must justify his failure to forgive. But he who would forgive himself must learn to welcome truth exactly as it is. Do nothing, then, and let forgiveness show you what to do, through Him Who is your Guide, your Savior and Protector, strong in hope, and certain of your ultimate success. He has forgiven you already, for such is his function, given Him by God. Now must you share his function, and forgive whom he has saved, whose sinlessness He sees, and whom He honors as the Son of God. So, we are responsible for our scripts, and therefore only we can deprive ourselves of the peace of God: thus, we forgive others for what they have not done to us, not for what they have done.

TRUTH AND CONSEQUENCES OF FORGIVENESS:Say youre standing in line at the Post office and someone accidentally steps on your toe. They quickly move back and say Sorry! and you say No problem. Its over and quickly forgotten. But what if they say Sorry! and then continue to stand on your toe? Are you still going to say No problem? What exactly is forgiveness? Is it condoning the other persons behavior? Denying your own pain so another person can feel better? Letting another off the hook, and then carrying their shame for them? Is it as simple as letting go of a balloon that floats away into the atmosphere? I think it is much more complex than that. Forgiveness is a huge buzzword these days. Everyone says you should do it. Oprah says you should do it. Doctors say youll be healthier if you do it. Jesus did it on the cross. Stanford University even has a Forgiveness Project, where researchers say it is a skill that can be learned, a decision you simply make. But I dont see it as a decision any more than falling in love is a decision. Forgiveness is a spontaneous shift in the heart, and like love, it cant be forced. It is an unwritten contract between two souls. A door of genuine understanding and remorse must be opened before you can cross the threshold of forgiveness. You cant bang that door down yourself. In other words, forgiveness is not a one-way street. On the other hand, when a person is sincere in opening the door to forgive you, you feel it in your soul and it changes you. True forgiveness is grace in action. I know because I have experienced this. What is forgiveness? I dont know that I could encapsulate it into simple words. Like love, I know it when I feel it. When it happens, it is a beautiful miracle, like a butterfly landing on my shoulder. But I think it is a different experience for each person.

Anger Management:ANGER:
Anger is a natural emotion that every human and many non-human animals experience. Mild forms of human anger may include displeasure, irritation or dislike. When we react to frustration, criticism or a threat, we may become angry and usually this is a healthy response. Anger may be a secondary response to feeling sad, lonely or frightened. When anger becomes a full-blown rage our judgment and thinking can become impaired and we are more likely to do and say unreasonable and irrational things. Anger is not just a mental state of mind. It triggers an increase in heart rate, blood pressure and levels of adrenaline and noradrenaline. Anger has survival benefits, and forms part of our fight or flight brain response to a perceived threat or harm. When a human or animal decides to take action to stop or confront a threat, anger usually becomes the predominant feeling and takes over our behavior, cognition and physiology. In many cases humans and non-human animals express anger by making loud sounds, baring teeth, staring and specific posturing as a warning to perceived aggressors to stop their threatening behaviors. It is unusual for a physical attack to occur without these signs of anger appearing first. If a stranger approaches some newborn puppy-dogs the mother will most likely growl, bare her teeth and adopt a defensive or ready-to-attack posture, rather than silently attack without any warning. If you trespass into the private land of a farmer in a remote area, his approach may be similar; his voice may be hostile, as may his body language, and posture. Instinctively, anger may surge in humans and non-human animals to protect territory, offspring and family members, secure mating privileges, prevent loss of possessions or food, and many other perceived threats. Experts say anger is a primary, natural emotion with functional survival value, which we all experience from time to time. The raised heart rate, blood pressure, and release of hormones prepare us physically for remedial action - which is either to fight or run away at top speed (fight or flight).
