A short story (About Me): I am expert at penetration testing and ethical hacking. I had completed 10th in 1996.

Then after
I joined Aptech Computer Education for some private courses in IT field. I did not complete my graduation or 12th
standard by that time. In 2001, I completed my Bachelor in Science with major in Computer Science from a private
institute through distance education. Since 1998, after completing my courses from Aptech, I got involved in Information
Security research activities independently. My main area of work involved of hacking (which is known as penetration
testing in community approved language).

I got success first time when I hacked NASA HQ’s website and sent the recorded video of that hacking process to
President of India in 2003. I was invited to President’s Office on 14th May, 2003. My tour of name and fame started from
here with media exposure in leading news paper of several cities. Then, I got in touch with chairman Mr. N. Balakrishnan
(IIS, SERC), Bangalore. I met him as well and after the complete procedure I had undergone for demonstration of hacking
UTI bank. I hacked the UTI bank website and I added a message in the news section with access to administration rights.
I performed the complete process in the presence of a reputed news channel AAJTAK. I also sent the message to UTI
bank officials to demonstrate this with an intention to help out the bank make their security better.

Here came a change in my life, when I was arrested by Mumbai Police crime branch for hacking into UTI bank website
without permissions. As the hacking term was in progress in those days and it was very new thing for everyone, it was
treated seriously as a crime rather then an expert level work. Law was not my field, and IT ACT was also unknown to me.
This was the reason why I was charged for a crime. I used to think that when any person commits any financial crime
through an electronic transfer or misuse of other’s fund, then and then only it’s a crime. Before I could understand
anything, I was remanded to police custody for 14 days. I got the bail and the matter is yet under process in the lower
court at Mumbai. However, in next three months I will be discharged as I have filed a quashing case in H.C. of
Maharastra.

From 2003 onwards after my release on bail, I got involved in research continuing in the same field. But I added one more
thing to my research and that was cyber law. I studied the whole cyber law and then I used to work within legal limits,
according to the sections and clauses mentioned in the IT law. Today, the position is that I have performed hacking
research on several thousands of websites. I have recently(3 August, 2006) proved in a LIVE telecast on IndiaTV news
channel, by demonstrating my expertise for national interest. During this LIVE telecast I hacked all Indian E-banking, E-
trading and E-shopping websites. Legal, Technical and NSE experts were present. This was a first longest LIVE telecast
record across globe which lasted on air for more then 3 hours. Rajat Sharma(chairman of IndiaTV), Hon. Minister of
Communication and Technology Mr. Shakeel Ahmed as well as Director of Indiabulls Securities Ltd. Mr. Gagan Banga

Moreover, in between the period of 2003 and 2006 I also worked for Honorable Chief Minister of Gujarat as a Technical
Assistant and Indian Army Intelligence (PUNE & AHMEDABAD). This was a period after I was released on bail. So, in
short these are the details about my life, struggle and extensive research in the period of 1996-2006(10 years).

Something about my family: My father holds a reputed transport business in Ahmedabad with contracts of highly
reputed and MNC’s of India. I have three elder brothers and no sister, all of which are involved in father’s business except
me.
