A BRIGHT, TACTICALLY CORRECT LIGHT IS CRUCIAL IN LOW-LIGHT ENVIRONMENTS, PLUS IT OFFERS A HUGE, POTENTIALLY LIFE-SAVING TACTICAL ADVANTAGE: BLINDING AND DISORIENTING AN OPPONENT. Paul Michel, The FBI Law Enforcement Bulletin
You need intense, tactical light to do your job effectively, because the stakes can be life or death. SureFire
believes that having three separate rugged, extremely reliable illumination tools at your disposal is critical to your success and safety, as well as the safety of those around you. Thats why weve developed the Tactical Trinity for Law Enforcement, which consists of three unique elements:
800.828.8809 www.surefire.com
PRIMARY LIGHT
This is your go-to flashlight. It must be compact, powerful, and carried securely in a quick-deploy holster so its always available and can be dispatched at a moments notice. This light should be designed to be easily operated with a pistol, generate tactical light output (enough to temporarily blind or disorient an aggressors vision in low-light conditions), and feature a tactically correct tailcap switch for intuitive, foolproof operation in high-stress conditions.

BACKUP LIGHT
This lights purpose is just as the name impliesto back up your primary light should it fail or be damaged or lost. It should be ultra-compact, since space is limited on your duty belt, under your jacket, in your pocket, or wherever else you choose to carry it, so long as its secure and easily accessible. It needs to generate tactical light levels because, when pressed into service, it becomes your primary light. It should also be powered by the same power source as your primary light, so you dont get bogged down carrying multiple types of batteries.
WEAPONLIGHT
A weapon-mounted light allows you to navigate, identify and assess threats, overwhelm a threats dark-adapted vision, and properly illuminate your targetwith your weapon fully deployed, at the ready, and while maintaining a fundamentally sound shooting grip on the weapon. While a handgun WeaponLight may not be an option in all departments, its a must-have on long guns, which can be difficult to maneuver and operate in conjunction with a handheld flashlight.
6PX & G2X TACTICAL | Z2X & G2ZX COMBATLIGHT Z2-S COMBATLIGHT | V85A HOLSTER p.6
A powerful tactical light thats more compact than your primary light
and can be placed in a pocket or on a duty belt and accessed quickly when needed. Dual-output, with a lower output and extended runtime for general use, is a plus, as is being powered by the same type of batteries as your primary light.

SINGLE-OUTPUT LED Keeping things simple in high-stress situations is crucial, and the single-output 6PX and G2X Tactical are the embodiments of simplicity. Both feature a virtually indestructible LED and precision reflector that produce a brilliant 200-lumen beam with a touch of their tactically correct tailcap switch: press for momentary-on; twist for constant-on. The 6PX features a high-strength aerospace aluminum body thats been hard anodized to military specifications, while the G2X has a corrosion-proof polymer body thats lighter in weight and more comfortable to the touch in cold weather. A sculpted (6PX) or molded (G2X) body provides a secure purchase in any kind of weather or while wearing gloves, making deploying either from a SureFire V85A speed holster (p. 7) and operating either with a pistol, using any of the techniques shown on page 8, intuitive and, yes, simple.

SINGLE-OUTPUT LED The hard-anodized aerospace aluminum Z2X and lightweight polymer-bodied G2ZX are as simple and powerful as the 6PX & G2X Tactical with one main difference: They feature SureFires patented CombatGrip, a stepped-down body with rubber grip rings thats ideal for flashlight/handgun techniques (p. 8) and providing a secure hold with wet, cold, or gloved hands. They both deliver a blinding single output of 200 lumens, both feature tactical tailcap switchingpress for momentary activation; twist for constant onand both fit securely in SureFires V85A polymer holster (p. 7), the perfect holster for securing your new Z2X or G2ZX to your duty belt.

HRS.
At 160 lumens, the single-output Z2-S delivers a bit less tactical output than our other Tactical Trinity primary light recommendations, although still plenty to overwhelm an aggressors vision or illuminate any threats and/or targets. However, it makes up for any decrease in output with the addition of a powerful tactical strobe light160 blinding lumens of flashing white light designed to confuse/disorient anyone on the receiving end. Hewn from rugged aerospace aluminum thats hard anodized in a Mil-Spec finish, the Z2-S features SureFires CombatGrip for easy operation with a handgun or a secure grip in wet or cold weather. Press its tactically correct tailcap once for instant activation; three times quickly for strobe light. Like all of our primary light recommendations, the Z2-S fits perfectly in our ergonomic V85A holster.

COMPACT DUAL-OUTPUT LED

The compact yet powerful Backup was designed as an ideal backup light for undercover officers and beat cops alike. Its more than five times brighter than a typical two-D-cell flashlight, with a length of only four inches and a weight of less than three ounces. Its dual-output LED leads with 110 lumens of tactical light, for high-stress tactical situations, and follows with five lumens of useful light at its low settingenough to check an ID or write a citation without compromising your dark-adapted vision. And the super-efficient Backup continues delivering useful light levels for 37 hours on a single 123A battery. Its rugged aerospace aluminum body is hard anodized with a MilSpec finish for extreme durability and features smooth styling that goes easy on your clothing. A sturdy two-way pocket clip allows for bezel-up or -down carry, and its tactically correct tailcap switch can be pressed for momentary-on or clicked for constant-on at either output level. A musthave for any law enforcement officer.
USING TACTICAL LIGHT WITH PROPER TACTICS AND MOVEMENT IS VITAL TO SUCCESS IN LOW-LIGHT CONDITIONS. A LIGHT DEPLOYED WITHOUT
ANY MOVEMENT OR MOMENTARY LIGHT BURSTS MAY GIVE AN OPPONENT AN UNDUE ADVANTAGE. BELOW ARE FOUR COMMON METHODS FOR
PAIRING A PISTOL WITH A LIGHT. THEY EACH HAVE THEIR OWN UNIQUE STRENGTHS AND DISADVANTAGES, SO YOU SHOULD TRAIN TO TRANSITION BETWEEN THEM AS CIRCUMSTANCES DICTATE. THESE PHOTOS ARE FOR ILLUSTRATIVE PURPOSES ONLY. PROPER PROFESSIONAL TRAINING IS CRUCIAL AND SHOULD BE SOUGHT AT INSTITUTIONS SUCH AS THE SUREFIRE INSTITUTE IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA.

SUPPRESSOR ADAPTERS
SUREFIRE SUPPRESSOR ADAPTERS SERVE TWO PURPOSES:
1 2
They act as rock-steady mounting platforms for SureFire suppressors. They are stand-alone devices that enhance the performance of your firearm. Our proprietary adapter design ensures precise alignment of a SureFire suppressor every time, and multiple bearing surfaces offer solid, steady support for the suppressor.
There are two types of SureFire adapters. Each offers different performance characteristics as a stand-alone device.
Muzzle Brakes
Reduce recoil and muzzle rise, allowing a shooter to re-acquire a target more quickly.
Flash Hiders
Reduce a weapons flash signature, therefore masking ones position; they also preserve a shooters night-adapted vision.
