of our community. In a recent discussion with one of our military
leaders in this community, the question was asked why we dont
celebrate Veterans Day with a parade honoring our war fighters
- peace keepers and their families.
There are many events but not a parade involving all of us
who ought to say thank you for their sacrifices.
Thus, Saturday, November 12th, please come join us to
honor these individuals past and present.
We will line up on Las Flores march to Norma head south
to Ridgecrest Blvd. and east to Balsam Street north to Las Flo-
res. We will begin lining up at 7am and begin at 9:30am.
We have some floats already, the American Legion, V.F.W.,
and C.P.O. group plus some individuals and other organizations.
We are grateful for all, so far. You, too, are much needed and very
welcomed.
No prizes - just the honor of celebrating the men and
women who gave and still give their lives, time and bodies - so
we can celebrate our freedom.
