SPECIFICATION FOR SUPPLY OF DM WATER TREATMENT PLANT Specification is for supply and installation of water treatment plant for

use with our Air conditioner and Refrigerator Test facility. The Demineralised water treatment plant should deliver treated water having following characteristics: Parameter Conductivity @ 25C Resistivity @ 25C Total Silica Total Organic Carbon Chlorides Sodium Output water quantity: 20 liters per hour Other requirement: The supplier should verify the quality of water available at CPRI and supply water treatment plant suitable to have treated water of above mentioned quality and quantity. It is also required to provide installation of water treatment plant with automatic level controls and necessary plumbing work to fit in line with the existing equipment piping. (Please see schematic at Annex 1 to have an idea) The water level controls to check the water level at treated water storage tank so as to automatically operate the inlet valve whenever water level in the treated storage tank goes below specified minimum level and also to maintain the water level at required value at the end use point. All required plumbing work to be done with supply of necessary pumps, pipes and valves which do not affect the treated water quality. The suppliers are requested to visit CPRI EATD Division Air-conditioner test facility to apprise themselves of the requirement before submitting the offer.
