Nature has provided energy sources to cater human needs.

Naturally occurring fuels like oil, gas, coal, wood and biomass are basic sources for the fulfillment of energy needs. These fuels are formed from the decay of animals, bugs, plants, and other creatures and with the passage of time they went through substantial changes at different locations and in different times of history. Now these fuels consists of water (H2O) carbon (C) nitrogen (N) hydrogen (H) sulfer (S) Oxygen (O2) chlorine (Cl) and ash. Issues of fuel and fuel systems are of different types but both are related to fuel. First concern which is very important and requires attention is the gap between the demand and supply of available sources of fuel. Fossil fuels are biggest sources of energy production but their consistent availability in future is a question mark so it is very important for us to look for alternative option. In US it is projected that oil demand will increase to 50% by 2025, and 8 million barrel oil is daily used just by cars and trucks. Oil is using big part of our disposable and its prices can make or break economies like US. Thus they need to take serious steps towards lowering and distributing this burden. Fossil fuels are considered to be the biggest cause of pollution. In 1974 an article was written which first time blamed carbon dioxide emission to be the3 main reason of green house gases and a primary reason behind the depletion of ozone layer. In UK 16 % of overall emissions come from carbon dioxide. But UK is still using fossil fuel to generate power which consists 40% of carbon emission. Oil not only causes pollution by carbon dioxide emission but has many components which are causing problems for environment initially governments were not aware about the problems caused by these pollutants but with the passage of time situation has radically changed since 1970s they are continuously imposing restrictions on oil refineries and car manufacturers and in 2009 EURO VIII has come and it has further limited emission of sulpher. Additionally it is impossible to clean air or its pollution due to the automobile sector without removing sulfur out of the equation. It not only works as a pollutant but it also restricts other technology which can be adopted to remove pollutants from engine emissions. So there is no possibility of implementing a successful pollution reduction policy without reducing sulfur level close to zero. Engine manufacturers also have taken steps in developing cars with higher fuel efficiency, low pollutant emissions. Automobile industry is still mostly dependent on fossil fuel as an energy source for its products because it is comparatively cheaper and high power source but this dependence is causing depletion of this source. Big vehicles have yet not any appropriate option and they are biggest power source for the manufacturing companies thus it is difficult to cut profit but government shall have to take action in this domain to encourage research on other option and they can limit production of big vehicles while encouraging eco friendly automobiles. In japan has more than 73 million vehicles on road and in whole world just one million alternative fuel vehicles were on road in 1999 which is just 0.4% of total 212 million vehicles on road. Fuel system also have issues which on one hand effects efficiency of engine and on the other hand can increase pollutants some specific fuel system problem have been discussed below Water appears as haziness in fuel tank which is a problem of cold season. Haze form droplets and if not removed they will form haze which dries when oil is heated they form a greasy layer on filter. This problem can be removed by checking that drained water is removed from engine. Dirt, rust and oxidized fuel may form brown or red particles, causing deposit in filter. If we use a fuel which is not stable at area temperature a wax comes out of the fuel which also causes blockage on fuel filter. Due to the contamination or blockage in the water draining, hazy fuel and dirt fungus can develop. Some customers use fuel with addictives and if proper mixing is not done than it can lead t o blockage. All problems stated above need proper inspection of oil filter. Any of the above problems can cause injector wear which can lead to engine failure.
