Thanks. 1. backup your phone (on Itunes) 2. download and upgrade to 5.0 using itunes 3. download redsn0w 4. download jailbroken firmware from the sites link 5. open redsn0w and select firmware under extras from your itunes download( wind ows 7.. Go to control panel folder options , and check view hidden files and fol ders. Then browse to c, users, ur name, app data , roaming, apple computer, iTun es , iPhonesoftware updates use iPhone3,1_5.0_9A334_restore.ipsw) 6. select jail break and ensure install cydia is ticked 7. again reboot into dfu and select the jailbroken software and select boot teth ered 8. open cydia, manage, sources, edit, add, add http://cydia.hackulo.us 9. search for appsync, install it 10. search for installous, install it (DO NOT INSTALL WINTERBOARD AS IT PUTS UR DEVICE INTO SAFEMODE) 11. job done you can then sync your phone and any apps that have not come across will still be visible within ITunes, simply drag and drop them into your phone within Itunes This is a TETHERED Jail break meaning you will need to use your data cable as pe r step 7 every time you reboot your phone.
