Green energy Green energy is a popular term in the new millennium its a positive solution to global warming.

The climate is changing dramatic in rapid time and has become the biggest challenge we face in our life time. Scientist has proven that the world has not been as warm as it has been in almost a millennium. Due to the increase in the earth tempter the Arctic ice is melting making polar bears endangered while the sea level rises. A study from National Wildlife Federation found that sixteen percent of the worlds coral reefs were wiped out in only a years span. Green energy is the essential solution to overcome global warming in our life, for mankind, Mother Nature, wild life and the future that we would leave behind. Human activities are one of the main causes of global warming including burning fossil fuel like oil, coal and gas. Since the Industrial Revolution, the burning of coal, oil and natural gas has emitted roughly 500 billion tons of CO2, about half of which remains in the atmosphere from National Wild Life Fund. Global warming can be decrease and hopefully can be solved before its too late. Concern is widespread around the world, but it may also be inversely correlated with the wealth and carbon footprint of a nation. Cognitive and Behavioral Challenges in Responding to Climate Change" By Kari Marie Nogaard. A carbon footprint is the total amount of green house gas emissions we put out into the environment. To lower your carbon foot print can help all of us in the fight against global warming. Global warming is affecting our wild live and their habitat. Animals have needs too water, food, shelter. The water is too hot for the salmon and is destroying are coral reefs .Severe droughts of water can kill plants, which wildlife depends on for food and shelter, and deprives wildlife of water sources. Sea levels are rising and larger flooding is expected in the near future.

A study from National Wildlife Federation states thatDroughts caused by global warming could dry up 90 percent of central U.S. wetlands, eliminating essential breeding habitat for ducks, geese and other migratory species. If global warming keeps its stats queue there would be no place for animals to raise there young, Making those animals in those regions danger of being instinct. Things need to change we have to act quickly. National Wildlife Federation states Unless significant action is taken now, global warming will likely become the single most important factor to affect wildlife since the emergence of mankind. The habitats these animals live in are being in daggered as well including Eastern Hemlock, Coastal Wetlands, Great Lakes, and western and southern forest. What needs to be done written by National Wildlife Federation In order to combat the effects of global warming, we need to maintain and restore natural forest and wetland systems. Healthy forests and wetlands absorb flood waters, provide efficient water storage, and are critical for water purification and groundwater recharge, while also providing important fish and wildlife habitat. It would be horrible if my generation would lose those endangered animals.
