The Earth, many eons ago was not as inhabited as it is today. Humans during that time were more concerned of their needs rather than their wants to stay alive. But as time passes by, their understanding of themselves and their environment was broadened. They became aware of the benefits they could attain from their surroundings out of the whats, whys and hows that came popping out of their once limited understanding. And now, here we are using their inventions and improving them, aware of the side effects it brings. One of these effects is global warming. Global warming is the overall state of existence that is the cumulative effect of hundreds of environmental factors. Global warming affects babies because even though the babies are supposed to stay indoors, warmly cuddled in their mothers bosoms, they may need to be taken out for regular check-ups to the doctor and other outdoor baby adventures. Although sunlight contains vitamin D which is essential to your childs health, prolonged exposure to sunlight is harmful for your baby. This is mainly because sunlight contains ultraviolet light. UV light, as it is commonly called, is liable to cause damage to the babys health both in the short and longer run such as increasing the risk of skin cancer. If your baby is pale skinned, the risks are even higher. Sun and UV radiation exposure and the use of sunscreen have the same effects on babies. Babies are not immune to the risk of ocular injury from UV rays.
