The Opportunity The office of Enrollment Management is seeking a Registrar who will maintain integrity of information and data within the Banner student class schedule, registration, academic history, CAPP and graduation areas. The successful candidate will: Ensure compliance and provide leadership in development of ZU policy and enrollment services objectives. Build and streamline processes in support of departments input and output. Provide leadership in development of ZU's academic infrastructure including systems for secure record maintenance, administrative reporting and data warehousing. Provide operational supervision of Registrars Office staff including Assistant Registrar, Registration Officer and Attendance Officer. Coordinate and support Assistant Deans and Supervisors to facilitate students ability to complete program requirements in a timely manner. The Responsibilities The main responsibilities of this position include: Scheduling: Ensure timely preparation of comprehensive course schedules for campus by liaising with Deans, colleges and faculty groups as required. Ensure changes to student schedules align with ZU policy and do not negatively affect class schedules. Address individual student concerns with regards to scheduling issues. Registration: Ensure registration of students and preparation of student schedules. Student Records: Ensure accuracy and timeliness of maintenance of student records in Banner and student files through direction of work, prioritizing tasks and monitoring group activities. Regularly address student and family issues (i.e. withdrawal, termination and class changes). Liaise with departments to ensure issues are addressed. Maintain Attendance and Performance records where applicable. Reports: Regularly prepare comprehensive statistical reports on student attendance, class size etc. for academic units and University administration. Proactively monitor student attendance and takes action with appropriate faculty areas to address issues. Admissions: This position will be responsible for the oversight and maintenance of all male and female student admissions in Dubai. Admissions related duties will include: Ensure all required application documentation is submitted, completed, and all ZU admission criteria are met. Maintain integrity of student application and admissions records in the student information system and ensures the timely preparation of individual student schedules and reporting. Act as the primary contact for the University with NAPO to facilitate the admission of new male and female students each Fall/Spring. Act as the primary contact for prospective male students and their families to provide information on ZU and its program offerings. Help with the organization, planning and managing of recruitment related events as well as other student oriented events on and off campus. Other: Aggressively build relationships and communication lines with faculty areas to enhance effectiveness of registration services. Collaborate with Supervisor, Enrollment Services and Dean, Student Affairs to develop and implement

appropriate policies and infrastructure. Provide guidance to Registration Officers and Attendance Officer. Responsible for constantly improving and modifying registration policies and procedures to correspond with changes in University policy and growth. Direct tasks and activities of direct reports and coaches them on continued growth and development. Continually create and modify forms to aid in proper flow of information in and out of the registration office.

The Requirements The successful candidate must possess: A University degree from an accredited institution and 7 years' experience with academic records in a complex environment or an equivalent combination of education, skills and experience. Ability to produce statistical reports Knowledge of AACRAO standards, practices and procedures. Familiarity with both western and UAE models of education Excellent computer literacy, especially familiar with database use in an academic environment. Knowledge of Banner Student is a requirement.
