Engel Hard Corp is one of the leading chemical suppliers in the world producing a wide range of
chemicals in integrated production plants. The most important customer industries for their products are
the pharmaceuticals, construction, textile and automotive industries. This project mainly focuses on the
financial aspects. The reports created are scheduled using Broadcast Agent for refreshing on the
guidelines provided by the client like Daily, Weekly and Monthly. Helping the client in finding and
analyzing the data problems or bad data.

Responsibilities:

 Designed, Created and Managed the Business Objects Universes.


 Generated Canned Reports using BO Universe as the data provider against multiple Data
providers
 Meeting extensively with end users/customers to understand report requirements.
 Testing reports before posting them to the repository (query optimization & performance).
 Weekly Production moves made to the universe. Created Dimension, Detail, as well as
complex Measure objects, adding tables, revalidating joins.

Flagstar Bancorp, Inc. operates as the holding company for Flagstar Bank, a federally chartered stock
savings bank. Flagstar is the largest publicly traded savings bank headquartered in the Midwest United
States. Flagstar is also a leading mortgage lender and a national leader in the wholesale mortgage
business. Business Objects was used to power Flag Star Bank’s customer extranet, accessible anytime,
anywhere, and by any device with a web browser. This system was built with an objective to help top-
level management in decision making. Also, used Business Objects Web Intelligence as one of its
internal reporting standards to create and distribute reports to the company's employees.
Responsibilities:

 Designing and developing universes for reporting generation.


 Created user objects including Dimensions, Details and Measures.
 Detected cardinalities, loops, and checked the Integrity of Universes.

Investment Management System


Involved in designing and developing programs for the Investment Management System at Catalina
Finance Corp., using Business Objects as front-end and Oracle as backend. The system was primarily
written to provide reports for our Portfolio Managers who could use these reports to provide our clients
with the highest total rate of return consistent with their performance goal, cash flow requirements,
need for liquidity, and preservation of capital. The reports also provided our Portfolio Managers the
unique objectives of each client with due regard to tax consideration, preferences toward quality and
market risk. The reports also provided our Portfolio Managers information to help our clients identify
investment opportunities that provide above average potential for price appreciation and total return.
Reports were created using the Reporting Tool Business Objects.

Responsibilities:
 Involved in the designing and building of Universes, Classes and Objects for Investment
Management System.
 Created Cardinalities, Contexts, Joins and Aliases for resolving Loops and checked the Integrity
of the Universes.
 Exported the Universes to the Repository to making resources available to the users. Created

Project dealt with the medical equipment and drugs given to the customers/Patients, claiming the bills
from the insurance companies, used by the medical service providers. The system had four modules:
Customer Details, Data File Management, Inventory and Accounts. The customer module deals with the
customer details and insurance related Medicare med claims. Inventory module deals with Drugs and
equipment flow from the vendors, supplies to the customer and on-hand availability. Accounts module
deals with bills and claims with various insurance companies.
Responsibilities:
 Several reports generated regarding customers, doctors, inventory and billings
 Involved in designing and implementing several forms for each module
 Designed user interface screens
 System incorporates all the user-friendly functionality’s like pop-ups, list boxes and other
object oriented events.
 Developed the user interface and menus using triggers, functions and procedures. Also took
active part in testing.
 Carried out detailed study of business, data analysis and configuring the materials management
module to user specification. Also involved in developing E-R Diagrams.

through a variety of delivery channels and through its specialized subsidiaries and affiliates in the areas
of investment banking, life and non-life insurance, venture capital and asset management. The system
issues computerized registration of customer accounts and view the accounts online and submitting
mails for clarifications. It gives online information of the customers account details. Strategic Decision
Support System providing complete Transactional Information of all types of accounts of their
Branches Nationwide. Keeps a Track of the account related information.
Responsibilities:
 Involved in designing the database model.
 Designed and developed forms for the user interface using Oracle Forms.
 Wrote PL/SQL Scripts to create alter and drop database objects likes tables, views, sequences,
procedures and functions.
 Wrote stored procedures and functions to retrieve the data from the database using PL/SQL.
 Different database triggers Oracle 7.0 with SQL*Plus, PL/SQL in both UNIX and WINDOWS
