Power

The attribute that God has which makes Him “God” is POWER. He gets to do what He wants
because He has the power to do it and nobody or nothing has the power to stop Him. He is the one
who set the standard of Righteousness, He is the one who defined the “good or evil” in the Tree of
the Knowledge of Good and Evil. He is the one who set the price for sin and He is the one who paid
the price for sin. When He created the universe He used His power but He did not give up any power.
He was ALL powerful and He is still ALL powerful. God exercises His ability to use His power as
He wants; He has the power and authority to follow any and all of His whims. He does share His
power (i.e. with Satan, demons, angels, humans and nature) but it is still His power and none of it is
used contrary to His will; that is He knew when He created man that man would sin and that He
would hate the state man was in, but He was willing to put up with it and pay the price He himself
had set, because in the end He would have some who loved and trusted Him.
Here are a few verses regarding power and the authority to use it.
