THE TACTICAL VERSION OF THE ERGONOMIC TUBB RIFLE.

Professional tactical marksmen must often hold position for hours at a time. Whats more, one rifle may have to serve several marksmen in a unit individuals who may have different preferences about how a rifle should fit. The SPEC-TAC-LR brings the TUBB 2000 rifles ergonomics of full adjustability to the tactical field. Designed by famous rifle shooter David Tubb and Rock McMillan, the SPEC-TAC-LR is a modification of the highly successful TUBB 2000 rifle. A tactical accessory rail system, pinch-block for riding sandbags, muzzle brake, bipod system, flush mount sling swivels, and splash camo finish convert a proven national championship winning rifle platform into a superb tactical rifle. As with the TUBB 2000, the buttstock, cheekpiece, forend, sight position, and trigger are fully adjustable

so that a shooter can hold exactly the right position comfortably. The components are indexed so the adjustments can be quickly repeated if different shooters are using the rifle. All barrel and action components are machined to benchrest tolerances. The all metal construction gives repeatability of zero despite changes in temperature and humidity. OPTIMIZING THE SEMI-AUTO PLATFORM FOR SCOPE USE.

The McMillan M3A is designed for shooting with a scope as well as iron sights. The adjustable cheekpiece on the McMillan M3A stock positions the head for an optimum cheek weld. An optional full length upper handguard tactical rail is available for the mounting of night vision optics, forward mounted scopes, and other accessories. This transforms the M3A into an accurate, medium-range tactical rifle with the benefits of magazine fed semi-auto .308 Win firepower.

The world record for the smallest 100 yard benchrest group was shot nearly a third of a century ago by one of the earliest McMillan rifles. The group is a mere 0.009" center to center and was measured with a 60x microscope for verification. That record still stands today, and that McMillan rifle is still hanging in our museum.

The McMillan 50 LBR is a benchrest competition rifle designed for long range 50 caliber events. At approximately 28 pounds without optics, it conforms to Fifty Caliber Shooting Associations (FCSA) Light, Heavy and Unlimited class rules. It is built on the McMillan 50 caliber RBLP action and includes a McMillan 50 LBR stock, Jewell trigger, and 32" fluted match barrel with a McMillan BR muzzle brake. A McMillan action represents the finest ideas from the laboratory of the long-range competition circuits combined with the proving ground of actual combat and law enforcement experience. Precision tolerances. Superior steel. Thoughtful ergonomics. And styling like a sleek sports car. A McMillan action is the foundation for a true professionals rifle.

FLUTED BOLT AIDS RELIABILITY. Flutes sweep mud and grit away, helping to keep the action operating smoothly in harsh environments.

MCMILLAN G30 PUSH FEED ACTION

CUSTOM RECOIL LUG. The action face and recoil lug of every G30 action are precision ground and mated with a detention pin for absolute alignment.

CLAW EXTRACTOR FOR POSITIVE EXTRACTION. The G30 Control Round Feed action grabs a round from the magazine and holds it firmly in the boltface for positive feeding and extraction. This is often a desired feature for dangerous game rifles as well as match rifles used in across-the-course rapid fire competition. The G30 Control Round Feed bolt will close on a round already in the chamber.

OPTIONAL CLASSIC 3-POSITION SAFETY. The G30 action in either Push Feed or Control Round Feed configuration can be ordered with an optional 3-position wing safety: Fire, Safe, and Safe with Bolt Lock. The 3-position safety option requires a trigger and fitting at time of purchase.

ELEGANTLY-STYLED BOLT SHROUD. The McMillan bolt shroud adds distinction and accents the actions graceful lines.

ACCEPTS REMINGTONSTYLE TRIGGER.

PREMIUM GRADE STAINLESS STEEL. The body of the action is machined from 17-4 stainless steel. This is a tougher, more corrosion resistant material compared to 4000-series alloy often used on firearms. The receiver is hardened to 42-43 RC. The bolt body uses even tougher 9310 steel, surface hardened to over 60 RC. RECESSED BOLT FACE FOR STRENGTH. The bolt face, the barrel shank and the action all surround the cartridge head to add strength in this critical area during ignition.

30 MOA BASE IS INCLUDED ON 50 CALIBER ACTIONS. You may also choose a 0 MOA, 45 MOA or 60 MOA base.

MCMILLAN 50 CALIBER ACTION

TAPPED FOR HEAVY DUTY 8-32 SCOPE BASE SCREWS. These are larger screws than standard rifles to stand up to the recoil of the 50 caliber cartridge.

ACCEPTS REMINGTONSTYLE TRIGGER.

DUAL FAIL-SAFE EJECTOR. The McMillan G30 push feed action uses a plunger-style ejector, plus a secondary backup spring-loaded mechanical ejector that lifts up as the bolt body passes over it. CLAW EXTRACTOR FOR POSITIVE EXTRACTION. The McMillan action uses a Sako-style claw extractor of our own design. This produces positive extraction and pushround feeding.

RELIABLE PLUNGER EJECTOR.

A COMFORTABLE BOLT HANDLE. The bolt handle on every action is long enough to grip easily and contoured to clear todays larger scope bodies.

EVEN THE UNDERSIDE OF A MCMILLAN ACTION IS A WORK OF ART. In a production action, this area is finished poorly with burrs and tool marks to save costs. In contrast, every component of a McMillan G30 action shows precision engineering and attention to detail throughout, whether the area is hidden or exposed.

CLAW EXTRACTOR FOR POSITIVE EXTRACTION. The McMillan push feed action uses a Sako-style claw extractor of our own design, producing positive extraction.

BOLT RACEWAYS ARE CUT WITH WIRE EDM. Electrical Discharge Machining produces tighter tolerances, no tool marks, and a smoother sliding bolt.

NO TOOLS BOLT DISASSEMBLY. The innovative bolt on the G30 and 50 Caliber actions disassembles easily without tools so you can clean the firing pin assembly.

ACTIONS

TIGHT BENCHREST TOLERANCES. Decades of experience in the benchrest circuit have shown that absolute concentricity of the bolt and the action body around the axis defined by the bore line of the barrel is paramount to precision shooting. Each McMillan action is CNC machined from a centerless ground billet blank, not a casting. The face of the action is absolutely perpendicular to the axis of the bolt. Tolerances on general metalwork are held to within 0.005". Critical parts are held to 0.0005" tolerances.

McMillan 50 BMG Ammunition (50 Rounds) This round was designed for the McMillan TAC-50 but can be used in various other 50 BMG rifles. Cartridge specifications include factory sealed primer, sealed neck, and powder weighed to the tenth of a grain. The match grade projectile is a wide-band 754 grain monolithic solid with a standard boat tail. It is CNC machined from UNSC36000 brass with a hardness of B78. The calculated ballistic coefficient (BC) is 1.088 at 2700 fps. Average velocity is 2717 fps when using the TAC-50 as its shooting platform. Each round is built by hand and inserted in a chamber gauge during final inspection to ensure flawless function in the field.
