2. Run Title Survey Module
1. Click the Bluetooth conIiguration settings at the Total Station Module
option in menu bar
2. Select the COM set beIore at the Bluetooth manager
3. Test reading the bearing
3. Create User ID storing the job
1. The job is stored in Local Disk C Field Communicator Working
User ID
2. The job Iolder is now exist
3. Create a job Iolder that will store all the jobs in Iuture

1. Load the job
1. Click Open Job Icon in the taskbar
2. Select the job Iolder associating to be loaded

4. Set up a Starting Point as a reIerence point oI the traverse

1. Click Starting Point button
2. For choosing a Starting Point, there are several types
1. ReIerence mark (boundary mark) recorded in PDUK
2. Known Point (point having coordinate)
3. Unknown Point having coordinate
4. Unknown Point without coordinate
5. For us, our Starting Point is assumed to be as near as possible to
the datum
a) Set up Total Station on the Iirst station
b) Then, click icon starting point on TSM
c) Select point type
d) The Starting Point is known as Station 4

5. Create a Baseline

1. Select Baseline icon in the taskbar
2. Select the Starting Point
3. Observe back bearing (Circle LeIt) to RO (boundary mark)
4. Observe Iorward bearing to the target (Circle LeIt) to target (boundary
mark)
5. Observe Iorward bearing to the target (Circle Right) to target (boundary
mark)
6. Observe back bearing (Circle Right) to RO (boundary mark)
7. The Baseline is known as 4-5
6. Traversing around the lot

1. Select the observe icon on the taskbar
2. Observe back bearing (Circle LeIt) to station 5
3. Observe Iorward bearing (Circle LeIt) to station 6
4. Observe back bearing (Circle Right) to station 5
5. Observe Iorward bearing (Circle Right) to station 6
6. Repeat the procedure until the last station

7. Make a Connection Line to nearby lot
1. The observation still using same method as traverse observation
2. The line produced is known as hanging line
3. This line connect the surveyed lot to the other lot nearby
8. Check Angle Ior hanging line

1. Select icon Check Angle at the taskbar

9. DiIIerential Field Test

1. Set up the total station at centre oI any traverse line
2. Click icon DiIIerential Field Test on the taskbar
3. We have done DiIIerential Field Test at Station 4 and station 5. First, we
make new temporary station at the middle oI station 4 and station 5.(new
temporary station C, station 4 A, station 5 B).
4. Set instrument at C, measure the distance to A, then measure distance to
B. We compare the distance between (CA CB) and (AB). Tolerance is
10mm. then, our DFT is acceptable.

10. Solar Observation
,
1. Choose any traverse line visible Ior the Solar Observation
2. Set up total station and RO point (Iorward bearing)
3. Click at icon Solar Observation on taskbar
4. Observe the RO (Circle LeIt)
5. Observe the leIt Sun (Circle LeIt)
6. Observe the right Sun (Circle LeIt)
7. Observe the right Sun (Circle LeIt)
8. Observe the leIt Sun (Circle LeIt)
9. Re-observe the RO (Circle LeIt)
10. Repeat the procedure Ior Circle Right
11. AIter this process is completed, the M-Correction will applied to the
traverse
